So I just preordered the BB Shuttle and got told it’s on back order. Did anyone else get this message/is it just a default bc it’s not able to ship for two months anyway or am I actually gonna have to wait til November?

I saw someone bring up earlier whether the Slave I will have a spot for a carbonite block. My guess is that they'll use the Razor Crest's version with the 1x2x6 blocks with stickers. Alternatively, Boba doesn't have any bounties in the ship when we see it on the show, so it might not even be a thing they considered.

Tbh the more I look at the Cruiser the more I like it. It's not perfect, and those cannons are being yeeted immediately, and I might mod it further, but it's generally all right.

Alternatively, Lego is notorious for having absolutely horrible promotional images and I have to wonder if this is a case of that. The angle the cruiser’s pictured at makes the whole thing look shorter then it is, so it may be better then we’re giving it credit for. Alternatively to THAT alternatively, TLG are morons and probably screwed it up. It was such a dumb decision. I’m sorry. UCS sets should be big iconic ships, not the Toyota Corolla of Star Wars. ETA: starting to become a bit of a Novel Writing Andy but what bothers me is that we’ve had Star Destroyers at this scale before that have worked really well, not to mention other very large ships like the AT AT which is bloody gorgeous at the same price point AND has a really damn good interior. Just feels like an oversight.

It’s just not big enough. I have to wonder if you’ll even be able to fit all the figs inside. This would have really benefited from being a UCS set.

The main problem I have with the cruiser is that it feels like they took a Millenium Falcon, squished it inwards and threw some guns and a bridge on it. I’d be willing to bet it opens up like the TROS Falcon too. Just feels lazy and blocky.

Lego is making up for their tomfoolery big time. Now let’s see if they can keep it going for more then one wave. edit: one thing I don’t like is Bo’s helmet looks wicked cluttered but that might just be the blurriness.

There's rumors of a Rebels sequel tied to Ahsoka so they might do another round then but it's very very sketchy rumors right now so I didn't say anything.

Which makes the decision with the Imperial Shuttle even stupider IMO granted what they’ve told us about the whole “piece box” system. I think there’s a decided attempt to keep this Vader limited to adult collectors, even including the DS duel set which has a higher price tag and doesn’t appeal that much to kids. Very weird, annoying decision, but it’s about three lines and a half circle of grey. What really worries me is the precedence this sets for Beskar Mando to only have his arm printing in some sets, artificially inflating the price of say ToT and being generally crappy.

Grievous is expensive. His pieces are very complex and are only ever made for him, they have no use outside of his fig so the price rises. I have a feeling Lego takes advantage of how infrequently they make him tho.

I'm guessing LegoCon's reveal for us is probably just going to be the Gunship and nothing else knowing how Lego runs. The timing is right with what that designer said in that interview about a "big reveal" in August. Also, if they reveal a UCS set like that they're going to want to have it front and center, so they won't distract with system sets.
