  1. Hey guys, I haven't been so active in the last few months. Can someone summarize the rumors or hard facts about the summer wave 2025? I read so far that there will be a new Dursley's House from PoA, anything else already known?
  2. I just checked it and saw that in Austria they are being sold for 170-190€!!! That is insane, I'm also selling mine now :D
  3. Really curious how the great hall will turn out, the booklet image looked already very promising. But I'm even more curios to see what actually comes with it. Judging by the picture I would assume the hall and the cortyard on a rock formation. I'm not sure if teh stair case tower will be included as well as I believe it will also require quite a lot of pieces (I'm pretty sure it will include some kind of stair cases and maybe even Dumbledore's office in the top? That leaves me then also with the question what would be beneath the great hall behind the rock formation. As we still have the chamber of secrets on shelves I hardly believe it will be this one, so my tip would rather be the kitchen, something we have never had before. But would we really want a kitchen that takes the same space as the great hall? I'm also wondering where the potion class could be added. Will it just be a stand alone set until further additions in winter wave 2025 are added? Minifigure wise I'm also very curios, I would hope for the double amount of minifigs as the 2018 Great Hall given it costs more than double. When looking at the 2022 and 2023 play sets I see that besides the golden trio, almost every other minifigure appears only in one set (e.g. Hagrid only in the Hogwarts Express, Dumbledore only in his Office set). Therefore I would not expect to see Hagrid, McGonagall, Dean, Cho, Draco or Filch again in any of the summer wave sets as they are already included in the March wave.
  4. Do you think there is a chance to get further Diagon Alley Sets in style of the D2C versions? I would still really love the leaky cauldron or madam malkins
  5. I‘m a little lost, so the 200$ set is gonna be the D2C set for this year and most likely the Burrow, no? Will this be the only D2C this year? Last year we got Gringotts and the Hogwarts Castle. Just wondering cause a) i‘m surprised there is no super expensive set this year (don’t get it wrong, my wallet is relieved) and b) I would have expected two D2C again.
  6. Why would someone display a portrait in the owlery, of all the possible places in Hogwarts the owlery would be the worst one to put portraits when I saw the collectable portraits I was thinking that eventually we could see something like a bigger version of the staircase tower this year. I think that these portraits must be good for something and therefore need to be put somewhere on a wall.
  7. I like the new sets!!
  8. Just finished building Gringotts, what a fun and interesting set!! Not wondering if this has been discussed, but on one of the sticker sheets are apparently 4 set numbers written, 3 of sets that are known and one that does not match (to my understanding). Could that be a hint to a future set? what do you think it could be that they mention it in this Gringotts set?
  9. So BrickClicker confirms that Gringotts will consist of 2 buildings that can either be displayed on top of each other or you remove to top section with the Gringotts building and put it next to Diagon Alley. so guess I was right that Promobricks saw the pictures when they did their teaser video in April… 13 Minifigs is quite a lot, I wonder who they will include!! My guess is at least 3 goblins (the three different variants that are on banner display in the London Lego store) + Griphook Harry, Ron & Hermione Bellatrix and the Deatheater that Ron turns into in DH Maybe Hagrid to also use the set for PS? I really hope for Bill too!
  10. The new Microscale Hogwarts set looks nice, but for that price... I just don't see how it justifies 170 USD. The set contains mostly 1 x 2 and 1 x 1 parts and looks very small (just take the minifig as comparison, or the picture in which it is put on a shelf). I'm not even sure if it's worth as a display set due to the size, I guess you will hardly be able to see it from across the room Also quite sad that they still did not manage to complete the castle as the clock tower is missing. The architect minifig looks really awesome tho.
  11. Sorry needs to corrected: This Info comes from Promobricks, they have quoted the set description but I cannot find the source. Here is what it says: "The model can be rebuilt into a bridge: The castle modules can also be rearranged to create a bridge and recreate a different legendary location." I guess you can just remove the walls on each side of the entrance building and clip them together to form a bridge... So no completely new build like the 2-1 Expecto Patronum.
  12. If I read the set description for Battle of Hogwarts correctly, this also seems to be some kind of 2 in 1 set!!! In the description it says that the model can also be rebuild into a bridge to have a second important location of the battle. Not sure tho if they mean the wooden bridge that Neville blows up or the big stone bridge that leads to the Great Hall Courtyard. First one would be great but since there are no brown pieces included I guess it will be the Courtyard bridge.
  13. Preeeetty underwhelmed to be honest, I think the Battle of Hogwarts will be the only Set I will buy out of the June wave. Expecty Patronum looks quite good but these buildable creature sets are not quite my typ. Still looking cool tho. BoH: looks nice from outside but I'm afraid it will be quite empty on the inside. Cool minifigs even tho I think they missed the opportunity to include the knights or trolls for some really epic battles. Quidditch trunk easy pass. Capes for Ravenclaw and the hoody pieces can easily be bought via bricklink. Hogwarts Express looks like a major letdown for me compared to the 2018/19 version. I don't get why the train has grey roofs now. Hogsmead station alone doesn't justify to buy it for me, so it will be a pass. WWW looks quite nice and I'M glad that the DA buildings are becoming accessable for people that don't want to pay the high price for the D2C set. But since I own it, this WWW set will also be an easy pass for me. So quite sad on one hand but on the other side also happy because I can save a LOT of money for Gringotts.

  15. @krimimimi maybe it's only my interpretation but I kindly disagree. I had the impression that they already have seen the pictures of the set (Niki from their english YT channel has clearly seen pictures of some sets as she already confirmed herself, question is if Gringotts was in these pictures as well) but they cannot tell yet and try to "hide" their knowledge. Right after saying that they "wonder" how Gringotts will be made there is a quite long pause after which one of them says he "thinks" it will be like Jabbas Palace. Then later he says "if I remember correctly, there is the upper bank building and the lower section with tracks and dungeons. And you can remove the upper section and put it next to diagon alley if you wish so." (there was no "should" used by him). And then he finishs saying that we will all be able to read this info in the detailed article "which will surely be coming very soon". Since Niki confirmed that she is already doing the video with the details, we know that the article is coming soon. And according to the guys the info about Gringotts will be included as well. Niki says she has to wait to be sure everything is correct, but it all sounds like they are waiting for the "go" from the source to publish it. Anyway I hope the video is coming soon, I really can't wait for all the set descriptions!!
  16. Promobricks just mentioned in their livestream that Gringotts will apparently be consisting of two parts: the underground track system with dungeon & vaults and the upper part with the Gringotts building, which apparently can be taken off the lower part and then be put next to DA. So I guess there will be no other DA buildings coming with Gringotts.
