I’m still wondering what this is in reference to 👀 Sorry does this imply Malak Fives and Revan? I know Renown said Malak is coming but technically he didn’t say Revan isn’t coming.

He seems to have the utmost confidence about his info, gives me the impression that it might be more than just prelim images. I think itsjustajoe’s comments are more of a wild card. He hasn’t specified more info, likely because he doesn’t have it (yet). He must’ve just been told at least 1 clone will be different. His insider source is different from the rest though, I believe he clarified this a while back on Reddit. also it’s cool to see you on Discord!

Palnet is extremely reliable, he is the one who informed extrabricks on insta of the all the detailed 2024 set info. Falcon Fan has cited him before too I believe. Legoleaks mod is fairly reliable also. He has shown to know some inside info which has been consistent with prior leaks. And just to mention, Palnet has reiterated that plain phase 2’s are assured. But he is checking his sources to verify if one or more of the clones in the set is unique / a clone gunner.

I don’t know if it’s been posted here or not, but via leaker palnet on Discord regarding the Clones vs droid battle pack: ” speaking of the clone battle pack, I have no idea why the fact it’s plain phase 2’s hasn’t been mentioned “ and then via lego leaks mod: “apparently it’s not only plain phase 2, they are some of the four” He did go on to say that “I could see it being a gunner reuse to kind of be an homage to the 2010 battle pack”

I 100% agree with the reasoning for the visors and part-ability you stated. (I also don’t think they look that bad, and I like the functionality). However this reasoning for the kamas doesn’t work given the fact that Rex is coming in a $600+ set that is not aimed at kids and will not have Rex in a seated position. The actual likely reason for this? Budget / money. I wouldn’t classify Lego as lazy but they absolutely can be cheap or let’s say limited to their budget. The fact that lego isn’t shying away from using them in other themes that are geared towards kids, isn’t because they are characters that don’t have to be seated. If that was a legitimate concern, lego wouldn’t include them at all to maintain consistency. After all, no kid is gonna “follow the rules”. They’re gonna try and seat the ones they want.

What are you guys’ predictions for DC next year? If the new DC (batman) sets sell like I think they will, I’m expecting a single 4+ set. BUT on the off chance these sell well, I’m hoping for another dark knight set, hopefully the Bat from TDKR.

40453, I love that it’s just the og lego Batman suit but slightly updated. Looks fantastic to me! Me too! Really hoping we get a Guy Gardner GL minifigure.

what hair are you upgrading him with? I’m really digging the E-wing & starfighter set, both ships look excellent. But the T-6 seems somewhat bland to me, in part because of the lack of interior with just a single person cockpit. But figure wise I vastly prefer the T-6. UGH.

I see some strong dislikes, but not any hating. I guess it depends on how you view hating. I thought they were mid legs the whole time, but looking at it again I think they’re regular.

Is there a trend line we can see of lego set prices? Cause I remember when we got the big one (beginning of last year I think?) and it seems like grown a lot more since then. I understand the first time was to adjust for inflation, but can we really attribute that for all the other times? It’s getting crazy. With that in mind, this set’s price isn’t just insane to me, it’s actually unbelievable. Truly, I do not have the imagination to picture how this happened. This set looks like a $50 set at best, with Lego’s price gouging, maybe $65. But $90!?!? $90 for a set with 3 figs that lack any kind of nice detail beyond the torso (and one leg print) and a nice (but nothing special) build. This set is set up for failure. Regardless of how the Marvels is received, I don’t think there’s a multi-verse where this set sells well.

If I had to guess, we’ll probably get another set in Jan-March, that will include thrawn and maybe Ezra as well.

So the marvels set is gonna be a ship. “The hoopty” which should be revealed tomorrow. Interested to see the size of the ship, based on the piece count it seems it may use a lot of big pieces (or at least one would hope). Also interested in if the villain of the film will be included. But not that it was surprising, all three Marvels are included.
