  1. Hey everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know (for those interested) that my phones, TV, and internet access has been down for around 2-3 days and still is and should be back up around one or two days. I'm getting a school laptop soon so hopefully I should be back up soon and posting again! By the way, I'm on my friend's computer if you're wondering. ~FB~
  2. Forestboy replied to migbarroso's post in a topic in LEGO Town
Wow, great idea! The use of that raised baseplate was really a cool design choice. Great job! ~FB~
  3. (Previous Post, #9) OOC: Oh, sorry, didn't reply quite quickly enough, Flare. IC: Ruitath was so hungry that he downed the entire drink while Benji was talking. Very rude of him. "Oh, my apologies. Yes, please do tell." Benji started talking as Ruitath asked Scheherazade for a hardy meal. A stuffed pheasant would do quite nicely. A large group of adventurers started gathering as story began to unfold... ~FB~
  4. (Prevous Posts, #8) OOC: Sandy's right. It has gotten awfully quiet here... IC: Ruitath spent the day wandering the streets of Eubric, pickpocketing nobles and exploring the town like he always did. Come midday, he was around Heroica Hall and decided to stop by to get a drink. Despite being the day after the quests were announced, he noticed that quite a few heroes were at the saloon. He noticed Benji, Trotter, Hoke, and Cinna as he sat down and ordered a drink. Another mouthwatering Dwarven Stout. A ranger he hadn't seen previously (Benji), was walking around and talking to other adventurers until he sat backdown at the bar. Ruitath leaned over and asked, "You new here too?" ~FB~
  5. (Preivous Post, #7) IC: Ruitath entered the Hall as a great deal of talking was going on as the quests were just announced. Ruitath's heart skipped a beat as he ran forward into the main quarters. Apparently, he was late. A large crowd was gathering around the board as many heroes were looking at the papers and scanning their names to see if it was on the list. Many of the heroes were celebrating by going upstairs for a morning drink. Ruitath pushed his way towards the front, looking for the job he signed up for. The list of names for his job was quite large. Many of which were crossed out, while a few were circled. He put his finger on the paper and started at the top going down to the bottom and found his name scratched out. He was sorely dissapointed. "Well, I guess not much has changed, then." he thought. The orc woman consoled him saying, "There will be plenty of quests to come." ~FB~
  6. So I know that everyone is excited to see which quests they get, but I was looking around the Heroica website, and I don't think I've seen it before, but I found the map of Heroica which might help since some people were confused what everything looked like. You can view the locations by going to Lego.com. I know Sandy is working on a map of Eubric, but I thought I would share this, in case someone didn't know about it, and wanted to see it. See ya' around! ~FB~
  7. (Previous Post, #6) OOC: Sorry CallMePieorDie, I was waiting for your response again, but since the main quests are about to start, I really wanted to get my last post in . IC: Ruitath looked at Atramor. He thanked Ruitath for his offer, but kindly denied. Ruitath said a short farewell, figuring he would see the fellow adventurer around the Hall, and walked up the grand staircases to the saloon. The saloon was less busy then earlier in the day. People were starting to leave as the sun set behind the horizon, though a few travelers sat around at tables and shared grand stories of crusaders, sad memories, and rumors of Eubric. The orc woman who Ruitath met earlier that day was handing two people at the bar two pints of some Dwarven stout. They clicked they're cups together, said a hoorah, and guzzled it right down. Ruitath sat down on a bar stool as he thought about all that happened that day. "How fortunate that I found this Hall." he thought as Scheherazade turned to him grunted, "What would you like?" in a tone that seemed grumpy, but cheery at the same time. He smiled and said, "Let me have what those two are having." She turned around, grabbed a mug and filled it right up as she poured the legendary liquid into the tin cup. The white "milky-like" froth rose clear above the top of the mug and overflowed down the side. She turned back around and slammed the cup right down on the counter and spit out, "Enjoy." Ruitath picked up beverage and took a big gulp. Nothing like the greatest drink in all of Eubric to finish the day. He slowly took small sips as one by one as fellow adventurers left the building. Only a few people were left as he finished his drink, thanked Scheherazade and left Heroica Hall. The full moon shone high in the sky as it was the only thing to brighten up the lonely streets. A few beggars were wrapped up in dingy cloths (an all too familiar sight) as he made his way towards the west side of town. He checked into the The Green Talisman Tavern as he did everyday, said hello to the owner, Rothum, a scruffy man, and made his way upstairs. He walked into his tiny room, got on his straw cot, and laid his belongings on the dark, smelly, old, dilapidating floor and laid to rest. A dog howled in the night as he could feel the great change that he was about to have in his life. Tomorrow, would be a new day. OOC: Can't wait to start! ~FB~
  8. (Previous Post #5, in the Marketplace) IC: They entered in those big wooden doors yet again, and walked to the center where the same orc woman greeted them saying, "Welcome back, adventurers." Ruitath's stomach growled as he painstakingly remembered he hadn't had anything to eat today, and he just spent his gold on a new weapon. The loud talking upstairs in the Saloon only made him hungrier. He looked at Atramor asked, "How much is the food upstairs?" But Scheherazade interrupted saying, "It's all on the house. No heroes go adventuring with their bellies not full." Ruitath drew a sigh of relief as he then turned to Atramor again and asked, "You hungry too?" ~FB~
  9. (Previous Post, #4 in Main Topic) IC: Ruitath and Atramor walked down the dirt and gravel paths of Eubric seeing peasants and nobles mingling with each other, with the bustle of average duties of the day. After walking a couple blocks, they could see a great crowd of people joining. Sellers yelled prices into the fray as traders argued and bickered back and forth. Large carts of crops came bumbling through with small mice chasing after it. In one corner, a large hired guard picked up a small boy while a woman, probably his mother, reprimanded him with large hand gestures. Nothing quite like it. The crowd's density lighten up quite a bit, as the two walked their way towards the back where all the special shops, booths, and stalls were. Atramor walked up to Gnomeo's Toolshed... ...and Ruitath headed over to Portia's Potion Shack. "How are you today, traveler?" asked Portia. "I've been better..." Ruitath commented. He tapped his index finger on his chin pondering his possibilities on what go buy and what would be useful during his new job. After deciding, he picked up a lightning bomb and handed 10 Gold to Portia leaving him with only 0 Gold left. He took of his hood and reorganized his things, realizing he didn't have enough room on his belt to hold everything. Near by, a few beggers and bums had chests of clothing and other accessories that were unsorted. As Atramor was buying his things, he dug around and found an adventurer's pack. He exchanged some talk with one and bought it with some very small coins (0 Gold, just character clothing change). (Small Avatar Change) He then reorganized his items and met back up with Atramor... Summary: 1 Item bought from Portia: Lightning Bomb, -10 Gold, 0 Gold Left.
  10. (Previous Post, #3) OOC: Glad you found the post, Pie. I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to connect the Marketplace posts together so they don't seem as disjointed and out of order . (Please let me know if you do mind though) IC: "Yeah." Ruitath agreed half heatedly. While leading a life of crime wasn't all fun and games, he found a rush and exhilaration of life on the run and hiding, and still unsure whether he'd actually want a fresh start. Shifting the conversation, Ruitath asked, "Have you signed up for a job, yet?" Atramor quickly replied, "Yes, 'em. I signed up for both the one down at the dock with the warehouse, and the one in the farmer's field." "I signed up for the one at the Warehouse as well..." Ruitath added and continued asking, "I'm a bit short on supplies, right now and I was thinking I would might stop by market, are you interested in coming?" Atramor thought for a bit until McCafferey, let out a "Bagawk!". Atramor then said, "Yeah, thinking about it, I could use a thing or 'two." The two rogues then walked down the stairs looking at all the trophies briefly and exited through the big doorway. Ruitath put up his hood in order to avoid getting caught by the men looking for him. He looked left and right and kept his head down, not trying to draw attention. The two rogues exited Heroica Hall made their way towards the Marketplace... 11. Swils, look what I did in my signature. I just put my picture and main things about my character in the same line, and everything else went in the second line. Try that. It seemed to work out alright. ~FB~
  12. Sandy, I love the little Market stands, great job! CallMePieorDie, just letting you know that I replied to your post yesterday. I was waiting because I was unsure if you got a chance to read it at all (Trust me, I know people have lives to live), and I didn't see a reply from you in the thread anywhere, but when I saw your post in the Marketplace thread I figured you weren't out of town or anything, so...point being, my post is here. (Sorry if it sounds pushy or anything, I'm not trying to be ) Having a ton of fun! ~FB~
  13. Yeah, I know I'm not the admin of the game, but I'd like to see an advanced class thing as well. My thought is that when you reach level 21, your original class can then have the option to switch to one of two new classes. For example, a Rogue would have the option to become an Assassin or a Myrmidon (or something of the sort). Apply that to any other class, etc. Just a thought. ;-D ~FB~
  14. (Previous Post, #2) IC: Ruitath sheepishly stepped away from the trophies and scratched the back of his head and replied, "My name's Ruitath." He noticed "McCafferey" to be a large rooster perched on the bottle he was carrying. It quizzically crawled up his right arm, around his neck and found a nice spot to lay down on Atramor's big hat. Not seeing anything like it before, he asked, "Do you always carry around a Rooster?" ~FB~
  15. (Previous Post (#1)) IC: Ruitath proudly stepped away from the board. "This sure will be interesting..." he murmured. Having been satisfied (and hearing all the commotion upstairs), he thought he'd go see what everyone was talking about. Slowly making his way up one of the large staircases, admiring great weapons mounted on the wall. He began to wonder what great Heroes of that time were like. He soon came to interesting place upon the wall. One of the trophies had two shiny daggers with folded up black cloth. "Do not disturb the antiques!" said the orc woman who caught Ruitath trying to pick up one of the Daggers. The sudden command made him jump out of his skin. He replied saying, "Yes, ma'm. Of course, ma'm." The woman strolled along side him and after starring at him, angrily, she read an elvish reading. "It says, "Othro, the Cunning. These are the weapons of of a great hero. His full name was Othro Ilinne, the finest assassin and master lock picker that Heroica has ever seen. Many said that he could become invisible and vanish in thin air. Nobody is quite sure where the man came from, although he served a great deal in the Orcish war. These antiques weapons were returned after a search party was sent to find them." "Who's 'them'?" Ruitath questioned. She continued saying, "During the end of the War, when things started to get very messy, he and his close group of adventurers, they, went looking for a mighty relic that could end the war. He was last seen in the mountains Chadirra. Many believe he was ambushed, and killed by powerful beings. Others think he's still alive. Many think, that like all veterans, they can never die..." "Wow!..." Ruitath thought to himself. Standing in awe, she quickly interrupted reminding sharply him, "Do not disturb the antiques, young adventurer." Ruitath thought to himself, "One day, I'll be the greatest adventurer, and they'll honor me here in the hall, forever and ever." The woman became then distracted as other travelers entered the hall and a couple requested more drinks at the bar. Ruitath then continued his way upstairs... ~FB~
