LEGO Star Wars 2025 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Where are you getting the snub fighter for $3??? I know it's probably just a typo but I actually am curious where people get deals on sets these days, it feels like I almost never see any sales in person and online is rarely more than 20% off on the sites I check, at least for SW. -

I do see what you mean and I kind of agree, but I do also feel like ten is not great if you want minifigures to populate the set. Regular civilians almost never come in Ninjago sets, so whatever you get in the set is basically what you have to fill it out with something like this. Personally it doesn't matter for me, since if I end up getting it I can always just take a few minifigures off one of the Ninjago City sets or make some with spare parts, but I can see why it would suck for someone with a smaller collection.- 328 replies

That would be cool, but for whatever reason I'm still not expecting to see this thing until sometime in February. It just feels like we know so little about it right now that getting a reveal would be a little early? But I guess you never really know how things will go with D2Cs. Also makes me wonder if we're going to see anything interesting for the 15th anniversary next year. I think someone else suggested that we might get a new Ninjago City set around then, which I could definitely believe, but I guess it'll be a while before we hear anything about that.- 328 replies

Perhaps it's just me, but I really can't see it being related to Enoch. There are multiple characters who it refers to in-universe, so if it's hinting at anything I would presume it's almost definitely related to one of them. -
Looking excellent, as always. Don't really have much else to say except that I'm excited to see the completed model!

I'm pretty certain that casuals don't know any clone commanders besides Rex and Cody and even then that's probably only if they watched Clone Wars. The real question is probably who else can Lego make that clone fans will care about. Wolffe is obvious and I guess they could update Gree but yeah beyond that I really don't know. I guess there's a question of how much clone fans care about recognizability, but until we get more relatively obscure legions and see how much people care, I don't think we can say. -

It is hard to believe honestly. I know there have been quite a few variations of it (three from 2015 to 2019), and the sequel version isn't really that different, but the fact that you haven't been able to get a standard OT Falcon for well over ten years is just wild. I like that Lego wanted to try something different but I feel like the Dark Falcon should have been the normal version, given how long it's been. I guess we'll probably get one within the next three or four years, though. -

I can't see us getting much for the R1 anniversary with how little we seem to be getting for TFA next year, although I suppose there's still a few 2025 says we don't know about. Otherwise I agree though, I'm guessing the deluge of clones will slow down in 2026, and 2027 probably won't be too heavy on them either if they do another anniversary wave. -

Eh I think it makes sense, they've already done the brown version a couple times so why not do a different color scheme? I do wonder how they decide that stuff though, like do they do some kind of analysis to try and determine which version would sell better or is it just "oh well already did the brown one a couple times, let's change it up." I'm guessing it's the latter but it's funny to think it could be the first option. They should do a Turbo Tank and MTT combo set where you can swap around the parts, like the X-Wing and TIE from this year. -

That seems a lot more believable to me. I'm still not sold on the 327th "leak" either, even for Lego's standards that just seems like way too many clones. Honestly 75414 being RtG is still not that exciting though. I wasn't a huge fan to begin with but I felt like it was fine for one year. Doing even more next year, when we already have so few playset slots, is just kinda annoying imo. -

Pretty much my thoughts as well, although I would say we probably need to wait and see on Rontu. 381 sounds small but if the build uses a lot of big parts (not to mention plastic wings) I think it might be worth the price. I think the diorama is the set I'm most excited for, but I'm interested in seeing the larger mechs and the bounty too. Somehow I've never had a bounty despite being into the theme since it started, but who knows maybe this will be the one.- 328 replies

Thoughts on the new information: MTT is definitely the most interesting part for myself, I might actually get it depending how my budget for Legos shakes out next year. I always wanted one as a kid and getting a new vehicle for the CIS would be great, but we'll see I guess. $1000 Death Star is hilarious. I don't think it'll sell that well, but who knows. At least it will be fun to see it whenever I go to a Lego store for the next five years. The buildable figures stuff is really getting out of hand. I suppose it's not really fair to judge it yet, since there it's totally possible that the rest of the sets we don't know of will be regular playsets, but that seems a little unlikely. I guess the figures must be selling decently well, but it really feels like the theme is losing its identity to me. I'm probably being overdramatic here but idk, I'm just not super optimistic. It feels like we're getting way less minifigure scale sets than we used to, and like a third of everything we get is so overpriced that I'd never even consider buying it. -
Agreed, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the completed physical build!

New wave looks pretty cool, I like that Zane is getting a lot of love since he's my favorite of the ninja. It is a little funny that he doesn't actually come as a minifigure in his own combo mech, but considering that he also is available in a pretty decent looking cheap set I guess I can't really complain. The only thing I don't really get is why Lloyd has two sets that are basically the exact same size? It looks like it's two different variants of him in each, but I still find that weird.- 328 replies

If there is a new clone commander coming, I feel like Wolffe is the most obvious candidate right? There are some others who are requested, but I think Plo is almost certainly going to show up in another set and Wolffe is bound to show up with him. Not to mention that Lego seems to enjoy keeping at least one character in any given large-ish set exclusive, and again, Wolffe just makes the most sense with Plo. I guess we've just got to wait a little while and see though.
