  1. Thank you, I had fun with it
  2. Thanks, I thought so too!
  3. This was my first Stud.io project. I thought they were transparent robot heads but when rendered they became glowing heads like that. Not sure if it was the part or some setting, but they looked pretty cool (and my PC takes forever to render) so I left them like that.

Thanks so much - I had a lot of fun with it!
  5. I took a favorite Lego brick and turned it into something I think is very special. What do you think? If you would like this on your shelf, please consider viewing and supporting on Lego Ideas! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/701ecd16-81f8-4e81-b3a8-9a191c2dfaba
  6. I have the exact same issue - I guess just take a step back and think if it would look good in a Lego catalog or as part of a cartoon where imagination is needed to fill in the gaps.
  7. All good answers regarding a large amount of specific pieces. If you want to build up a large collection of assorted bulk I have had good luck on Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, and Craigslist. Often involves a lot of sorting out junk though.
  8. I guess it depends on what your end goal is. Do you want to just display and/or rebuild the sets? Then keep them sorted by set. If you build and then sort to use for MOCs, choose a system that has plenty of room to grow. I would suggest shoebox size plastic tubs for larger pieces and something like Akro Mils drawers to sort all the small bits. I guess it would also help to know how you are sorting them now so we can help see what you can do differently? You shouldn't have to start over every time a new set gets added.
  9. Looking forward to more Mario/Nintendo themed builds like this outside the collection of the electronic playsets. Also, played Mario 64 many many times and it never occurred to me that the question block is not in it - it is just a more iconic/recognizable image. Easy to see why they went with it even if it is not game accurate. Would be nice if they officially included an alternate build though to make it an exclamation block.
  10. They seem to have a pretty good culture going to me.

Yesterday was Talk Like a Pirate Day, so I'm a day late sharing this, but here is my Pi-Rat! I had never tried to sculpt an organic figure like this before and I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
  12. Just a fun build I did the other day that I would like to share
  13. very slick - I would be glad to support it if you end up re-submitting it.
