  1. @vergogneless There are tutorials for how to apply locktight correctly..
  2. Oh, nice find @Ryokeen - I think I may want to add those information to the entry post.. is it anything else out of stainless steel besides the 8T?
  3. I wouldn't rely on them anyhow anymore after their vows they broke severely... This company and their products can not be recommended to anybody frommy experiences.. The hardware product itself is a nice thing, but their software stack, support and also their public relations is just one of the worst I have seen.. esp. if its a niche market, like they are in... normally companies are performing very well in those early stages - but I have the strong feeling they were more interested in high life than further working on their product, if one takes a look at their YT profile for the last two years.. Just nobody wants to see their CEO throwing a Set with buwizz down 2 floors to see "if it can fly" - which obvious answer is no... Sorry but for me they lost their sanity since long already, I can just be angry at them (or myself) for buying their lies (and product in consequence)!
  4. you could also use the PartsPack from Philo as he had designed the Buwizz 3 receivers - possibly then its a nobrainer to create them as regular 3d models.
  5. it is basically the position where it rests on one of the sides (took the picture the other day, forget if it really hit left or on the right side... but basically this is the max angle already..
  6. @vergogneless I am happy your order exceeded mine in price, that helps me for still considering my addiction as mild... 😂👌
  7. Meh, seems the MTP Wheelhubs won't have the u-joint positioned exactly in line with the pinholes, as suspected before.. Picture is with one of their shorter u-joints which is sitting on the inner metal part, but still too high.. :(

All welcome, we are helping out each other where we all can :)

It may be because of your links are just offering plain unencrypted HTTP:// - modern browsers are cautios about such uncreypted sources to be loaded. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-origin_resource_sharing) I tested your links with HTTPS:// but sems you picture hoster doesn't support encrypted connections - so I would also recommend to just create yourself a 100% free account on www.bricksafe.com - as you get 10 GB of free space + they offer https:// links to be used. So using bricksafe will lead to your pictures getting visible in the postings. Here is the exact warning in my browsers DeveloperConsole for the test picture not shown by @Jims test: Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/149997-help/&page=55&tab=comments#comment-3734681' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure element 'http://www.mgtx.fr/LEGO/Divers/69762_45deg.jpg'. This request was automatically upgraded to HTTPS, For more information see https://blog.chromium.org/2019/10/no-more-mixed-messages-about-https.html As the hoster doesn't allow https to be used, the picture cant be loaded. From the page of chromium (source of all modern browsers nowadays):
  10. If you want to have them in the correct place and stay there, I would recommend another position to solder the cables.. otherwise it may really get nasty with the pins.. Also in a simple PCB design I think the thickness of routings in the pcb could be done narrow enough for limiting the connection point of the pins with the plugs.. Couldn't we ask @NoEXIST if he has a MK Box or so to open and design us a very simple pcb? 😅
  11. hehe enjoy, MTP and ZENE parts I bought so far all very nice :D
  12. Oh boy, may you want to send this to MTP for them doing this in metal?! 🔥 (just went with the first sentence and no pics for better readability)
  13. I would think of a simple PCB holding the pins for the PF ports, a usb port and then just route it to some soldering holes for cables?! But I am not into PCB design.. so the PCB could replace the original and the cables could be soldered from the bottom to go into the free space of where the batt was / leave the housing.
  14. Ahhhh nice, I was too lazy to search them for myself! Edit: Added the hint, thanks mate!
  15. My two units are still in their boxes unfortunately @FriedlS - job and other topics are kind of overwhelming, I hope I will get more active soon again as I really miss the joy it brings.. so got a jumborc transmitter here already, just a thing of ordering a charger and some batts..
  16. I need to force myself into video creating, I reckon - but yes I will consider doing testing well and clarifying. I may get back for asking for thoughts about what / how to test as I am not so deep in the 4-wheel vehicle category, besides obvious thoughts like "aligned to the holes would possibly be best" :D And yes, salty prices - for me personally it is currently ok to pay that price. If I think of the costs of R&D of creating a well thought product, I am happy I can support them to at least have a direct small compensation, but more in ways of seeing a 0-Day order.. (btw shipped already). But from my previous experiences with their other products, the wheelhubs will be worth the money is my expectation & I am sure they will deliver a high quality product. We will see in the near future! Another thing, just to mention: I am not affiliated with MTP or ZENEBricks, so I am paying my private orders as everybody else is doing. The only thing I asked for with my current order: If I may get a single ballbearing fitting to one of the 5Ls as one broke as I tried to push one of their early series axles through (they need veeery hard press to get through the bearings, newer axles have a better fitting tolerance) for free as replacement, as it would allow to revive one of my previously bought products. I was told "no issue" -> so their service is also nice and open to help!
  17. Shit, the thing I nearly forgot I wanted to do.. thanks for reminding.. Those wheelhubs will definitely need some review! So order placed.. but customs will still come on top to those costs.. *sigh so what I wanted to say: The wheelhubs are available from today! @gyenesvi But seems they put it as compatible to their shorter-end u-joints, as we speculated already..
  18. @Toastie those Electrolytes are just added at production and dissolve themselfes, so I am aware this effect is a goner after the batteries have been started to be used. :)
  19. same here, so please consider anything in that regard like "may be absolutely wrong" - I am also no expert in that field! to add, ChatGPT (fresh prompt, just with the open question with the intention of it not hallucinating towards the asked question if asked specifically..): Excerpt: 4. Use of Additives in Electrolytes Electrolyte Stabilizers: Many manufacturers add stabilizing compounds or additives to the electrolyte that slow down the rate of degradation reactions. These additives can prolong shelf life and improve performance retention. Customized Electrolyte Formulas: High-quality LiPo cells may have custom electrolyte mixtures designed specifically for shelf stability, which reduce self-discharge and slow down aging.
  20. @Zerobricks All the best wishes for recovering fastly! @pankov: Also not 100% sure on this, but from my previous researches on LiPO topics it seems to be possible to add another chemical in the production, which is hindering a battery to degrade. those chemicals themself will degrade in the first discharges&charges.. but currently having no sources at hand.. just mentioning this may be a common practice for lipo producers..
  21. Possibly to add: If I remember right the ideal temps for operating (charging and discharging LiPOs) is around 40°C. Critical limit on colder temperatures is 10°C as the chemical reactions can't work fast enough to deliver the needed current and chances are high for them instead shortening and with that damaging the cells. So operating them in winter is not considered a good idea if one plans for them being in a good state over plenty of years :D
  22. Yeah, it may finally be the time I need to switch - thanks for reminding! ♥
