Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
I really don't understand this iteration of the Great Hall. For twice the piece count and price, all this one has over the 2018 version is a clumsy basement and an out of scale courtyard that mostly obscures the front doors. 2018 exterior still looks more iconically like the Great Hall. And the stairs up from the boathouse look like the ones you'd roll up to a private jet; they should be switchbacking. At this point, I think LEGO should completely split this theme into affordable playsets for families/kids and more expensive display models for adults/collectors. They've already done it for Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Express as well as the rumored Burrow and Knight Bus at some point. Why not do two versions of Hogwarts? Trying to have it both ways as a modular playset AND display model means that parents can't afford it and collectors aren't getting the build quality they want. Also bizarre that the Great Hall interior theme seems to be Christmas-y. Adding to what others have posted, this set should have come with a Halloween interior to coordinate with the troll and then had alternate Christmas decor included in the AC. It would be really odd to include jack-o-lanterns in an AC...

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Thanks! Was thinking about modding the end of the track with a 90 degree turn so that the GWP vault fell more under the footprint of the baseplate, but the closest color is light bluish grey

Sorry if this was answered already, but for those who have built Gringotts, what color are the mine cart track pieces?

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
I've been able to add it to the bag and gotten to hit the checkout button twice, but each time it errors... now it's saying nothing in cart despite a (5) next to the bag symbol Edit: Was finally able to get through the checkout process by using the paypal option instead of regular checkout! Good luck to everyone else!

@krimimimi + @bRICKbRAT Thank you!! And it's never too early - already have a bath time Duplo as his first set. Can't wait to share my HP sets from 2001-now with him that are currently in boxes (by which time they'll be super vintage )!

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Can't believe this timing! I posted this MOC when I did to wrap up the project before my wife's due date and what a surprise to check back after the baby was born to find this update! Hogsmeade Station is definitely a hole at the moment so it makes sense, but didn't expect TLG to come out with another HE that highlights it specifically. Looking forward to seeing what version they chose to represent My guess is that it's the smaller Wizarding World version since that was designed specifically for the films. Also, I can confirm that I do not have a WWW MOC in the works! Haha

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
In the lead up to the D2C Hogwarts Express reveal there was a lot of discussion about the possible inclusion of Hogsmeade Station in addition to Platform 9 3/4. After the description and photos confirmed that Hogsmeade wasn't included, I started working on a few versions and wanted to share them here!

Thank you! I drew my own stickers based on pictures of the gates. At some point I want to get the pieces and build these too.

[MOC] Hogsmeade Station - SS, OOTP/HBP + WW Versions
With both reboot Hogwarts Express sets only including Platform 9 3/4, I started working on a few version of Hogsmeade Station as companions to 75955! First is the Sorcerer's Stone Hogsmeade Station as played by Goathland Station: Hogsmeade Station 01 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Also decided to add the gates with a pile of luggage: Hogsmeade Station 03 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr The ticket counter and tea room on the inside could be a perfect home for the unnamed minifigs from 40500: Hogsmeade Station 02 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Here's the shot from SS that I mainly worked from: Goathland 2 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Next is the Order of the Phoenix/Halfblood Prince version that was built in Black Park: Alt Hogsmeade Station 01 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr I pictured this one also tying into the Thestral/Carriage set: Alt Hogsmeade Station 02 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Here's the shot that I mainly worked from: BPCP by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr And lastly, I winterized the OoTP/HBP version to look like Hogsmeade Station at the entrance to Universal's Wizarding World. This one could work next to the Hogsmeade and Shrieking Shack sets! Alt Hogsmeade Station 03 by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr Here's the shot that I mainly worked from: HM-Universal by Gitto Negron Workshop, on Flickr All 3 of these are fully buildable, but I live in an apartment in NYC, so my LEGO Room is Stud.io! Let me know what you think!

Harry Potter custom builds and moc's
Hello! I've been a longtime reader of Eurobricks, but this is my first post. Harry Potter has been my favorite theme since the first sets were released and I started working on this Ministry of Magic MOC about 7 months ago. I started with the idea of the entire Ministry being like the 2001-2002 sets where there were some large sets and some towers built of several modular sets. This MOC is the first of 5 parts that will eventually (hopefully!) add up to 1 giant Ministry of Magic display! Starting from the bottom, this MOC includes the Hall of Prophecies, Ministry worker's desks, Arthur Weasley's office, Yaxley's office (with rain!), Minister for Magic's office, Umbridge's office, and the propaganda writing desks on top. I started this MOC thinking LEGO would never do this location, but love that it's getting an official set. Hope you enjoy!
