  1. I might be a bit stupid, with this question. (And I'm okay with that), but how do I know if I have the required 50 posts? And does those posts mean started threads or topics, or does it include replies and what not ? And thanks for any help or direction.
  2. I really really like where this is going, I have been trying to find inspiration to tear down 42108, and turn it into a boom truck, this is a perfect base idea. Love it
  3. Oh I didn't know that I'll have to look that up.
  4. It's unbelievably close to the real car. I'm astounded. And there's a rival McLaren P1 that's perfectly suited , by "Pvdb", Interesting to see the two together, reminds me of the Ferrari / Lambo argument alot of us had in the late 80s early 90s, just better.
  5. Holy wow, this is amazing. I can't believe the detail.......it's very very well done.
  6. Ya that's a call only you can make. However it is Lego, nothing is going to be perfectly accurate, but that's sort of the point of it, get as close as you can using creative piece placement, I always find it amazing when something is close that was just not expected to be done with with the parts there are to work with.
  7. Holy wow. The recoil really makes for a special touch, I don't believe I have seen any others with that built in. Will be very interesting to see what new building techniques you come up with for the shell.
  8. I really really like the Canadian Pacific, we have one of those old coaches on display at a park in town, extremely accurate your model is.
  9. These are really cool sets (Moc), looking forward to seeing the rest of the beach buggy!!!
  10. Many of the recent technic sets have horrible colour schemes, and it's not getting better..........
  11. Your last few changes to this moc really brought it together. Outstanding work.
  12. Not a bad way of recording good ideas that lost ones interest. The old man does the same with his art works that didn't make the cut. I sure would have liked to see what land rover that was going be though. Lol.
  13. Very cool, I really am enjoying this scale of technic. I recently signed up to your web stuff, it's all very well done, even the unfinished has some more then interesting items lol.
  14. Wow this is a very elegant build. I love how clean it is. Almost like some parts are molded and not built. Great job. I want one lol.
  15. Ya it took me a few years to get around to change a few things too. I wish I would have bought two of them, the extra track is pretty expensive. There's some pretty cool examples of it on the internet, just need more blue beams. Thanks for the comment.
  16. I'm sure there's hundreds of these things modded up, and here is another take on the blue crawler. Added a couple sections, strengthened a few attachment points, added a few little details, took out clutch so it can pull pretty good now. Next job will be figuring out how to get a subtracter underneath this. (Any suggestions) Well there it is, simple mod but I like the look of it, a few things could probably be refined, and as always any pointers or wrong doings, I'd love to here it. https://bricksafe.com/pages/2ndgenguy/raptor/42042-crane-mod.-moc (Credit to silvio.tristram on rebrickable for the hook)
  17. Got the file up, thanks so much. Wow this thing is detailed. I don't really know how to use studio, but managed to figure it out enough to isolate the front section like you said. This should work perfectly, thanks again so much, I'll make sure you see your axle on this tow truck lol.
  18. I really really love this truck, I haven't seen to many that look this good, even the underside looks clean and well designed. That front axle is something else too. I need to up my game and figure that thing out......
  19. I wish I had something more intelligent to say..... Outstanding moc........just wow.
  20. This is such a cool little truck, it looks roughly the same scale as the Jeep Lego put out. Great match.
  21. I love that it has suspension, I think it really adds to the model, and yes I read about the hours you have into those fenders they look amazing. As does the whole truck. I'm trying to rebuild 8285 to have suspension, and it's just been a fight to get the stance right, and front axle figured out. I just love how low you managed to keep the truck with your design, looking forward to the competed model, and hopefully video of it doing its thing.
  22. Wow this looks, great. Would love to see how you worked the front suspension in while keeping it so low.
  23. Oh yes, colour change to white red and black. Maybe just white and black, hopefully add full sprung suspension too. Ya 8285 8285.
