Sell-out crowd for the Napoleon Bonepartes
Oooooo...Bells Palsy. Had that a long time ago--not fun! Good to see you being creative and having fun, though--love the band! Question: do they crank it up to eleven?

Wierd Experiece at Target
That IS weird. Did you suggest that since they don't carry that set, you'd just walk out with it? Never had a problem like that. Just picked up a couple more of the Desert Attacks last weekend at a Target, and they were certainly still in the system. Odd.

Decluttering Your LEGO Lair
Brickster! You and I seem to share similar tastes and similar difficulties. There's a table in the front room of my house set up for a large MOC that is hiding much of my nautical decor. I, too, cannot resist the occasional Playmobil set (perhaps harking back to the good old days when Lego and Playmobile figs did battle for my amusement). You've done a wonderful job of decluttering. My biggest problem is empty boxes. What was/is your solution? do you flatten boxes?

Latest updates on LEGO set sales
FYI, TRU sends me that coupon in the mail (no printing required). It's not much, but every little bit means more Lego for me!

It's opening...
War...war never changes. Great start--looking forward to seeing more creations!

Latest updates on LEGO set sales
There are three--X-Wing (set 6212), the At-At (set 8129), and the Clone Turbo Tank (set 8098).

Brickworld Hotel Room
Ras--probably too late to do you any good, but I'm staying at the Super 8 down in Prospect Heights. Not as glamorous as the official hotel, but half the cost (which means more $ for Lego purchases).

Ways to hurt Jack Sparrow...
Flawless victory.... Well done--red shirt on the away team is the best!

How to keep your Lego clean?
Buckshot replied to chaosof99's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThat's the exact advice I would give. Have not tried the pig hair brush, though--thanks for the tip, Ralph!

Summer Sets
Sigh--yep, TRU markup. They were MSRP during Easter, too. Guess TRU found out that they were selling well.
-
Summer Sets
Saw the new sets at TRU as well. Picked up the only Mill Village Raid they had on the shelf (woot!). On a related note, TRU has jacked up the prices on the POTC sets already, but found all but the big ship at Target for regular prices. In other words--get your POTC sets at Target and save youself some money!

Bad Storms through Texas, Arkansas
Best of luck to you both.

Latest updates on LEGO set sales
Checked a couple of TRUs today--one had no idea about POTC, the other had the mid-size sets (London Escape, Whitecap Bay, The Mill). Managed to get the London Escape at full price ($50) and the Mill at half price ($20), as the BOGO50 does NOT exclude POTC. Might be worth checking out if you're looking for POTC--

BrickForge Releases New Color - Army Green
Those look good, Omicron! I hope you guys have a booth at Brickworld again--I'll be looking for these!

Fergie wearing a lego dress
Shoot--I'm torn. On the one hand, I love Lego. On the other hand, if the dress had been made of megablocks, it would have fallen apart/off her. Megablock wardrobe malfunction...

Sub Zero
Well, of course it's your town and what you add or don't add to it is what makes it uniquely yours. If you want a snowy landscape next to a beach, put it in there. It's all about having fun, right? Maybe you could use your arctic sets to create a scene for Mr. Freeze. Or, if you're a fan of the show Big Bang Theory, you could use the arctic sets to recreate the time they did their experiment at the south pole.

Dark Helmet
Thanks, Morgan! You just made my day! What's the matter, Colonel Sanders? Chicken?

What I like about Eurobricks
There's a lot to love about Eurobricks, but what you've already pointed out is the key to it all--the excellent moderators here that keep it all together with kindness, dignity, and more than a little bit of humor. The folks that run/maintain this site not only share our love of Lego, but also work tirelessly to provide a place for us to share our love for the brick. Cheers to the mods!

Easter Treats
Yes--that's the Ninjago Easter set Target has--the Phoenix. Found in the Easter section and not in the toy department (all three of these sets).
-
Lego Pirate V.S Hero Factory video
VERY cool! The water effect worked very well. And telling a story without dialogue is always difficult--well done. Keep making these!

Bow down before your new Regulator!
All hail Zorbas! All hail the Regulator!

Our Zorro (Dieter) passing away
27...so early for him to leave. Reading these comments show that he made the most of the time he had, and that he made the world a better place for having been here. Rest peacefully, Dieter--you will be missed.

REVIEW: 9349 Fairytale and Historic Minifigures
Excellent review! Hope to find this in the US someday. Just a guess--is the man in the tophat a chimney-sweep? He's got a chimney brush (that looks like a mace) and a ladder, as well as a customer upset about a dirty chimney. Maybe?
