  1. Congratulations winners! Two FANTASTIC builds. Thank you Clone OPatra for hosting and thank you to everyone who voted for my Comic Book Guy/Android's Dungeon build.
  2. Congratulations both! And to everyone who entered, all the builds were absolutely fantastic!
  3. Wow, that is astonishing! I love the detail on the temple and the colours you've used. It's beautiful.
  4. That sounds awesome! I'm not sure my bulk will stretch to building it, but will be a good excuse for a bricklink order!
  5. This is stunning! Thank goodness your nephews nagged you 😆 amazing job. Can't wait to see it in all its 'real' brick glory!

My first LEGO set was Forbidden Island. I love the old Pirates theme! I had the Big Red Bucket of Bricks for free building/MOCs but actual set-wise, this was probably my first: NAME: 6270 Forbidden Island YEAR: 1989 RATING: 💀💀💀💀💀out of💀💀💀💀💀 (5/5) It's still my favourite set. I spent many happy hours playing Pirate baddies!

Hi XCLD! Wow, I LOVE the LEGO Ideas International Space Station! 😍 What an achievement. Most of us can only dream of getting a LEGO set made one day! Looking forward to seeing more of your MOCs!

Hi Jo, welcome to the Eurobricks Forum! I'm new as well, I'm trying to find my way around the Forum topics and threads. Everyone is very welcoming.
  9. I want this so badly! I might need to get hold of the instructions and try to build it myself, or as close to as possible.
  10. This is fantastic, thank you! It's fascinating to see your process of building and I've picked up some great tips, thanks!
  11. Find a job that you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life. Comic Book Guy's favourite place is his shop. It's his happy place where he goes to relax and recharge, surrounded by his beloved collectables and memorabilia. "Comic Book Guy is the owner of The Android's Dungeon and Baseball Card Shop, a local comic book store... His store is his sanctuary, where he holds some level of self-esteem, imperiously lording over pre-teen kids, like Bart Simpson and Milhouse Van Houten." - https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Comic_Book_Guy Thank you for hosting this fun contest! Hopefully this is not the "Worst. Simpson's MOC. Ever!"
  12. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!
  13. Thank you so much!
  14. Hello, and thank you for having me! I joined after I learnt about the many MOC competitions and activities that come from this group. I'm Laura and I've been a LEGO fan since the late 80s. I would describe myself as a MOC builder and set collector. I have only recently started creating MOCs, in the last year or so, but I am hooked! I love seeing other people's builds, learning and finding inspiration. I'm trying to be more active in the AFOL community, LEGO has pretty much taken over my life! Thanks again, I look forward to getting involved!
