New Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive
final set of the kingdom red soldiers whom are a red version of the crownies and loosely based on the original crusader lion knights.. BUT.... a new set for the new Falcon Kingdom.. and this set would be a great set to end the red kingdom knights and introduce the black falcon I wold love that to be the case and for TLG to go back to having some crossover when new factions are introduces / old ones phased out. Hopefully this will mean we get Falcon Vs Dragon for a while, before Dragon get their own "goodbye" set and are replaced with something else. Probably a wild dream though Loving the look of 10223 though and can see it doing very very well.

Dino 2012
I haven’t really been following the new Dino range, but now that these pictures have come out it has really caught my eye. Personally I think the weakest set looks to be the HQ as there is something about it that just makes it seem empty. Saying that, I do think the figures, mini-vehicles and accessories in the set should make up for that (and it can easily be used in a MOC). The Pteranodon and Raptor sets look great though and I can see the whole range making my wish list!

Bricklink questions
Just to add that everyone on Bricklink has to start somewhere. As others have said, document with photos the items you send and maybe insist on sending it with a tracked service? As to the currency fee's I think they are added to the ammount the buyer pays, but I am not 100% sure on that.

MOC: Wolfpack On A Break
This looks fantastic! Especially like the mine entrance and the surrounding foliage - it gives the scene a full look without looking too "busy".

What's in a name ???
A little while back I was looking for a new username for a DnD website, and some artwork of a Gelatinous Cube (Image) caught my eye and the name ExpiredHero just seemed to fit with the image. Since then I have used it on a few different site, although the cube is no longer my avatar.

What are you reading?
I am reading through the "Shadows of the Apt" series by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I am up to book 5 at the moment (Scarab's Path) and have loved all of them so far.

What did you buy today?
I was able to pick up a boxed Futuron "StarDefender 200" from eBay this weekend at a fraction of the price they sell for on BrickLink as the seller couldn’t guarantee it was complete. Decided to risk it and it seems to have paid off. It was delivered today and assembled this evening and every part is there with the bricks all in pretty good condition. It even came with a fair few extra bricks

Kingdoms 2012?
Opinions about Kingdoms aside (I happen to love it ), MMV refers to set 10193 - "Medieval Market Village" which was the last big set (I believe) for the previous Castle theme.

Very basic LDD question
ExpiredHero replied to ExpiredHero's post in a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and ProjectsThat is handy to know, it seems to make it easier to jump around a build and then just fine tune to the area you want using shift+click. I managed to finish my first build in LDD - nothing original, just building some Space sets following instructions to get used to the software. Can't wait to start designing MOCs now! As a newbie, I think that left+right click for panning would be a great addition - it was actually one of the things I tried while trying to figure it out. Using shift feels a little cumbersome.

Very basic LDD question
Apologies for creating a new thread form what is probably a really basic question, but searching hasn't helped me as I think the terms are too vague. In LDD, I can rotate pieces and zoom in and out easily enough but I cannot find a way to move the camera left / right / forward / back. I am positive there must be a simple trick I am missing, so please help a poor newbie out

MOC: IP-2012 Icebird
I think that overall the trans-blue one looks better - however it then dosn't really look like a spacecraft and looks far more like a futuristic Earth fighter jet. Despite the minimal colour changes, the trans-orange one looks a lot more futuristic and space worthy - and fits in far better with an Ice Planet theme.
