  1. Try to contact LEGO customer service - the first sets had a problem with the small cylinder - it lost a lot of air (the crane boom didn't stay up because of this failure, too). I received a replacement without any problems.
  2. Hi, I did nearly the same mod - but for the axles coming from the differential, I needed 8L for replacement - how did you manage to use 6L axles?
  3. Yes, I used the part for mounting the mower to the Unimog, but the arm is inspired by the forest tractor and trailer (8049) because it uses fewer parts and isn't as heavy as the crane.
  4. You can see my modifcations in my Brickshelf folder when it's public: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=487667 I did only some small mods: - black wheels with center caps - modified lights and some additional lights - modified exhaust - mechanism for unlocking the cabin - widened bed 2 studs - widened the mudguards for maximum trackwidth - some extras (snow plow, grass mower) - extra rear lights for the crane Only some small mods, but i think it's looking more realistic with them.
  5. Yes, but I got all pneumatic parts needed for the B-Model without buying them ;-) I believe they will send out only the small cylinders when they have spare parts - perhaps they only have full packages at the moment and don't expect a lot of people with this problem.
  6. I had the same problem with my set - seems to be one of the first sets. I contacted Lego via email and the told me they don't have this part in stock. After asking how this is possible - the Unimog is a new set - they sent me a complete set of pneumatic cylinders, hoses and so on... that's service.
