  1. Can’t wait to see the results, I know I’m preordering if this makes it through!
  2. Congratulations! I’m glad so many talented builders were recognized and received a prize! Thanks @Mister Phes for hosting an incredible contest, I know it was a lot of work!
  3. You weren’t joking about this taking a lot of work! Great job running the contest and special thanks to Horation for double/triple checking the votes!
  4. Haha, I guess I thought when voting ended we would know the results. Take your time @Mister Phes and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
  5. Good luck everyone! Don’t forget to vote if you haven’t, and I can wait to see the official announcement tomorrow!
  6. Thank ye @Captain Braunsfeld for sharing our build!
  7. Thank for doing the math @Horation! Best of luck Matey!
  8. Congrats Matey! But I aim to defeat ye in the main contest @Horation!

[SMALL CATEGORY] “The King’s Merchant” by Marooned Marin ”Steve’s Origin in the Desert” by Horation ”Enchanted Island” by Horation ”The Child - Steve’s Childhood” by MyFirstMOC-Hun ”International Society of Steve” by BrynnOfCastlegate [LARGE CATEGORY] “Steve’s Challenge” by Christophh “Captain Steve of the Revenant” by Sebeus 1 ”Steve’s Double Crossing” by YellowFrog ”The Merchant Vessel Margaret Hamilton” by Elephant Knight “Tapu Island” by Marooned Marin You can vote for yourself but you receive bonus points if you vote for others. Take a look at the voting rules. You may want to retract your vote and do it a little differently to gain those valuable bonus points.
  10. If it is only between me and Horation, he can have the prize. Do a wheel spin if there are other people who qualify.
  11. I do love the Barracuda, but this ship is like the sequel that doesn’t get enough credit. I dare say I like it more!
  12. You are doing fine work Horation. I believe you deserve the prize this round. And we all wait patiently to see the results of the main contest!
  13. Excellent last minute build. I really really like this temple concept. I also am impressed with the fact this is all brick-built. Well done, this late game addition has earned one of my votes!
  14. We were sitting at 25 comments so I’m perfectly fine with the prize going to @Horation I was hoping they would make it to 50 before the deadline, so please forfeit my claim.
  15. It seems I may be the first to vote in this category? This is honestly a harder decision than the building entrants, everyone has been so helpful and kind. However since I must choose only one, I am voting for @Math Wizard This Critic was one of the first to write a comprehensive comment on each of my entries. Compliments were appreciated and criticisms helped me (and my daughter) improve our builds!
  16. {excellent use of curly brackets Matey}
  17. That is amazing, I love the classic colours of the original parrot!
  18. I definitely see the Wolfpack influence as well!
  19. I noticed you changed the direction of the flag in the image of Steve rolling down the hill. Nice touch, it looks good. And I want to apologize, I had written a comment earlier, but it never posted. I blame my phone or the internet, lol.
  20. Excellent choice Matey! Well I doubt we will get to 50 comments by the deadline, so @Mister Phes may I claim a second 25 comment prize for Sydney’s Mini Imperial Trading Post? If someone else reached the threshold first, please feel free to give them the option to claim the prize. Thank you!
  21. I’m glad to see your comment Captain, I always appreciate the feedback. Using SNOT technique certainly more advanced than traditional building, so I know that’s why my daughter chose the parts she did. However I do agree that would make it look much cleaner, I can even image a way to make the figurehead look more accurate by using a sideways technique. Thanks for the tips Matey!
  22. I like the inclusion of the horse and poor young Steve holding the pitchfork. It is clear he worked hard his whole life to get where he is as an adult. My critique for you is, it appears you are using BrickLink Studio so I suggest you turn on the “collision” feature. I may be mistaken, but a couple parts seem like they may be clipping into each other. Also, bonus points for including the classic monkey!
  23. I believe that is the case. I’m curious how creative critic voting will look in comparison to the traditional voting. @Mister Phes please let me vote for more than one creative critic, there are so many helpful people (YellowFrog you’re one of them)
  24. I think the second round of posting prizes is complete. And Sydney actually won the first to 25 portion of this contest! Thanks again to @Mister Phes and everyone that has commented. And thank you for your kind words @Christophh
  25. I like how you secured the sails and the shape of you ship is very nicely done. I’m not sure how I feel about seeing Steve without facial hair, but I can definitely tell it’s him. The cannons are cool looking and the steering mechanism is good too, my only critique is I kinda wish the helm was a bit bigger and had an old style wheel for steering, but it’s not necessary. Great build Matey
