  1. Thank you all for the creative Entries! I learned a lot and look forward to another contest! 2. A small sand bar contains treasure at a price. This set is 100% built and designed by my 5 year old. He wanted it to be a quick sand or falling trap. The ground cover rests on a jumper plate to let it open and close or you can turn the jumper plate to let the floor fall. Treasure chest does contain swords and jewels. 3. Two brave officers attempt to deliver a message to the pirates occupying a seemingly small island. Little do they know these pirates thrive on the challenge of capturing imperials. This is an entry for the main building category. The set was 98% built and designed by my five year old. He wanted to build the ultimate pirate island full of booby traps.Included in the build are a barrel launching chute, a hanging prison, A cannon hides in the tree stump, and several other perilous obstacles. Wild animals disrupt the pirates as they go about their task of manning the traps. The piece count is near 450. The yellow bridge comes from the 6584 Extreme Team Challenge Mountain. Flicker album: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjASsUA (I apologize for the poor photos, I took photos as soon as he finished, but the next day when I was ready to stage nicer ones he already had played it largely away and was already on to other projects.)
  4. Nice work! Best of luck. You have an ambitious size! But should enable alot of good story telling.
  5. Sorry I missed the voting window. I definitely like the size and piece count. It's a great moc.
  6. Love the realistic scale and the Minifigure choices. The top hats are a nice touch.
  7. Do you know what scale you would consider this?
  8. Fantastic build. The color scheme makes it feel very real.
  9. Top-notch. Love the use of the pink bricks. The Aligator is creative as well. The effectiveness of the 2x1 bricks with the cross hole adds great detail. I need to use that myself next time.

This is my favorite mini-set entry so far. Love the creativity of a full set/story but with so few pieces.
  11. Excellent work! The giant statues make the world feel real. Similarly, the trees do a good job of creating a false perspective to make it feel farther away.

Fantastic ship! Love the mix of the solid shell and the built-up sides. Great use of posts and forks for the trident designs.
  14. Hello! My goal is to learn new MOCs and participate in the community with my son. We love Pirates, Castles, and city police sets.
  15. Hello! This is a practice post to work toward 10 posts.
