  1. There was a 2nd version of the picture in much higher resolution on Reddit, and you can see it’s called the Old Guarded Inn and has two goats heads in the top corners
  2. Is that an official photo? For some reason I thought it was just a build someone did from the description!
  3. It sort of reminds me of one of the designs submitted to Lego ideas. I’m sure there was a pub recently? It is VERY British. I think it looks extremely fun to build but I agree with whoever made the point earlier about being tied geographicly so specifically, whereas the other Modulars could be anywhere.
  4. Meh. I just got sent a link to it on someone’s IG account and agree, now that I can look at it for longer the top of the box looks like the top of the boutique hotel, and agree re: similarities. Dammit. Actually looks very nice! Feel a bit foolish now, sorry.
  5. I can’t find it anywhere else. this didn’t look like a corner to me, but I only saw it for about 2 seconds before I clicked on the image and got a ‘no longer available’ message. Could have been fake I guess, but haven’t come across any fake images of this set yet. Was hoping others saw it too.
  6. I’m drawing a blank trying to find it somewhere. The fact it was removed makes me think it might be real though? Did anyone else see it?! Overall impression was it was a cross between a small natural history museum and this alt build of the boutique hotel :
  7. I just very briefly saw a photo on Facebook claiming to be of the new modular, and then when I clicked on it it was no longer available. It looked like a townhouse one baseplate wide, with the middle higher than either side, and steps leading up to a raised ground floor. My impression was of tan, olive green and maybe brown, with white pillars and detailing. I can’t find anything on Reddit, but am going to look on Instagram. I also feel like it has a balcony in the middle as well, but it’s so hard to remember. I wished I’d looked longer before clicking on it.
  8. Annoyingly, I updated the Bricksearch app in a shop today and it now only lets you scan 12 times a day. Luckily I found another and finally snagged a couple of paladins.
  9. I think one of the torsos from this set looks like it could work as a Viking one
  10. A ‘proper’ photo of the Wolfpack guy (and the other upcoming CMFs) is currently on reddit
  11. Is there definitely not? I wasn’t sure if maybe there was still one we don’t know about? Agree, it’s a shame if there isn’t.
  12. I saw it in real life today in the Leicester Square Lego store and it looks very good. I’ll definitely buy it at some point. I think you may be right. It’s a nice idea (in theory) to get it at Christmas and actually have some time to build it, but oh well.
  13. Has anyone built the ship from 76440? I’m not interested in the carriage (although a horse is always useful) but the ship itself looks like it could fit into the medieval theme? There’s a deal on it through Argos in the UK, so am considering it.
  14. What would one search for? Or do you have the @ of anyone who posted it?
  15. I’m almost ashamed to admit this but I’ve never used any of them, which I know is TOTALLY not the point, but I just like having them. I tell myself one day I will ‘spend’ them but let’s see… I think on the top down photo of the botanical garden, they’ve removed most of the interior/plants. There seems to be enough of them in the other photos. I’ve just seen the ‘books are my passion’ GWP, and that makes me more tempted to bite the bullet for a 1st November purchase if it hasn’t run out! I’ve bought a few of the bigger sets (lighthouse, Modulars, etc.) from John Lewis in the UK as they periodically do 20% off, so it’ll be interesting to know if they’ll be selling this botanical garden.
