  1. Dang, that sucks to hear, but I understand why it is that way. Thanks for responding and clarifying!
  2. Would it be possible for the price bracket of the large category to be extended? It seems like I and some other users want to make alternate builds of slightly larger sets. Personally, the new UCS TIE Interceptor is the only build I have on hand currently, but the RRP is $240, so I won't be able to participate if the price bracket stays as it is currently. Thanks so much for your consideration and putting on this amazing challenge!
  3. I made one last LEGO Indiana Jones Set before the theme retires this year. I built the amphibious boat car from the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Instructions are on Rebrickable: https://reb.li/m/202171 ' Thanks for the support! - Dex Bricks
  4. Haha thanks for the support! Unfortunately, there wasn't enough black plate to cover the blue, I'm sure 10-15 additional plates could cover the remaining filler brick!
  5. Interesting to see how people are split on the cockpits, I've seen a lot of fans prefer either one or the other. I also preferred the 2015 cockpit until I got the set in hand, so there's that lol. Thanks for the suggestion!
  6. I was surprised to see that no one had done it, then I tried doing it and realized why haha. The black parts are very limited and their usage had to be carefully planned, I think I did pretty much the best I possibly could with my abilities. Thanks for the kind words!
  7. Hi everyone! I recently purchased set 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor and I wanted to try and turn it into a TIE Fighter with only parts from the set, this is the outcome. Changes were only made to the wings and stand. Both wings are mirrored and use the exact same pieces. Some inspiration was taken from the 2015 UCS TIE Fighter (75095) The smaller surface area of the TIE Interceptor wings made it difficult to cover the wings fully, but I believe it turned out well. Details: Size of Model: 33.5 W x 27.5 L x 41.5 H (cm) 0 extra pieces are needed! Here's the link to the Rebrickable Instructions if you'd like to build it yourself: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-201687/Dex Bricks/imperial-fighter-75382-ucs-tie-interceptor-alternate-build/ Hope you enjoy the model and keep building!! - Dex Bricks

  9. Coruscant instructions are now available on Rebrickable! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-193365/The_Star_Wars_Shop/coruscant-uscuru-entertainment-district-modular/
  10. I would be willing to take them if that's ok with you. I also made a Coruscant moc, but I am not sure what place I got because they only ranked the best two.
  11. Overview: For this MOC, my goal was to reimagine many scenes from the beginning of Episode 2 and the Clone Wars which took place in the Uscuru District of Coruscant using a LEGO Modular inspired design. My main focus was on recreating the chase scene with Zam Wessel, hence the inclusion of both speeders, all characters from the scene, and the Outlander Night Club. To fill the surrounding areas, I included some of the more iconic areas of the residential areas, such as a Dexter's diner establishment and the terrace from Padme's apartment. Goals: This MOC was designed to fit perfectly into a shelf in my home, hence the odd size, however, I believe that the model might work with LEGO's own modular series. The main goal was to make the MOC highly detailed and instantly recognizable as Coruscant with many references for dedicated fans. This model is digital only for now, but I recently purchased the parts to build it for myself, it should be a fairly stable model in person. All elements are available in LEGO's catalog, all items have been verified with Bricklink in Studio, meaning this model is possible to be built. Instructions will be available soon on my Rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/users/The_Star_Wars_Shop/ More Pictures in Flickr Album: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBxGsp Story: The scene takes place immediately after Jango Fett used a poison dart to prevent Zam from giving any information to the Jedi knights, then fled the scene. Anakin and Obi-wan investigate the dart and question their next moves as the concerned Padme looks over her balcony in concern for her and the Jedi's safety. Passing civilians stop and watch as the crashed speeder and Jedi draw much attention, including that of newly created bounty hunter assassin droid IG-88, who stalks from the rooftops. The interior of the diner building houses the diner, the second floor kitchen, and Cad Bane's apartment on the final floor. Here, Cad Bane and Todo-360 receive a transmission from Chancellor Palpatine with a bounty to steal a holocron from the Jedi Temple, reenacting S2 E1 of The Clone Wars titled Holocron Heist. Finally, the inside of the Outlander Club demonstrates how Obi-Wan's mind trick on Elan Sleazebaggano, also known as the Death Stick guy, did not work as he proceeds to offer them to the bartender. P.S. it is still July 1st in 4 time zones as of this posting.
