Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Greetings Fellow Kaliphlins (kaliphliners???) We have found a abandoned outpost in the waste land near the river. our plan is to build a trade outpost here where people can store products and refill their watersupplies. My question is where I can find some good oil to trade with other guilds... Is there a good oil production facility anywhere???? I haven't seen any. (ps. the western river, where does it start??? in the dessert????

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Greetings, My name is Antoi(in the middle), I represent the Eastern Trade Faction. 5 years ago our Master was betrayed and killed bij our emperor across the ocean and our faction was attacked and destroyed. Only a few men survived and managed to escape. I was among the lucky few en with some of the others i got to Historica. Here in Kaliphlin we found a new home and could we get back to business. We are specialized in small arms trade and other small goods. Since death of the king of Historia we plegde of alliance to Dextrus Flagg, Who we still thank for his help with our new life here.

Grouping Factions into a Super Faction of Castle
If you look at it in historic terms, then there are not that many factions. In theory that is. Medival Europe had a few kings and Emperors who needed the help of their vazals (is that correct English?) basicly the vazals promised the king to help them. In return the got ground which gave them theire income (and power). Those vazals fought each other, and sometimes their own king! But if their king waged ware against an other king the're supposed to help their king out with some soldiers...... Hope this make any sence (I tell it better in dutch then English) but this way you see the factions work together but at the same time there is some frictions between de factions on the same side.

If TLG Were to Revisit a Castle Faction
difficult choice to make. My first thought was the forestmen, but then again, what could be added without taking the mystery around these men away? Carts, catapults, houses al these are strange for them. I like the way they are now! Change them could make the theme less mysterious. (same goes for the wolfpack) IMO the Royal knight were never really expanded. Ok, we have a castle, a Catapult, a draw bridge and the kings carriage, but I suppose there could me a lot more. As they are "civilized" there could be a town (market, mill, houses, etc) or something like that. So I choose the royal knight, just for the possibilities of expanding

Crown Standardbearers
both standard look great i think. But they are to big i think... how do they look if you put some knights next to them?

Crown Cannon and Crew
Nice looking cannon, I also like the golden piece to get a Crownie feeling. I think the bandana guy is holding binoculars or something like that .... The bandana guy is also the one out of place i guess. Its not very "crownie" Maybe you could chance that.

Romans or Greeks/Spartans
In the end, it doesn't matter i Suppose. The Roman or greek is almost the same as the roman stole the greek culture. I love the see a phalanx though, or Alexander the great who conquered even persia (even the romans didn't succeeded in that) On the other hand, The roman could fight Hannibal and his Elephants. Actually, it doesn't matter to me, as long as it is historical correct.
