  1. Did you manage to get instructions? I can't find these so far, and brickphisto so far hasn't responded to the message I sent him on this forum
  2. I guess the "it's Lego so we can use our imagination to make it anything we want" applies to interpreting the function of the dish. Looking at how much of the underside of the dish is covered, I guess it being a wing/hull part does seem more likely
  3. Did you find out? He had an amazing design for a Lego beach buggy with instructions but can't find it anywhere...
  4. Sweet looking alternate build. Now if only Lego could center their prints better, that slight "jump" at the nose, in the last picture, feels a bit odd

Nice. Looking at the reference pictures, I wonder if it might look better if a layer of plates is added on the top section of the nose, and removed from the bottom. As it is now, it feels like the nose is sitting too low.
  6. Still can't understand why they didn't release this set with wider rear tyres when it's intended as icons/tribute set.
  7. 7? Makes my 3 copies of the set feel like rookie numbers I got one built as the main model and one as the "924", the 3rd one is still sealed. I think a set like this has a limited appeal commercially seen, most buyers are probably people who were into Classic Space already, but I hope it also attracted new fans to the theme
  8. I like this new interpretation. Although I always imagined the dish as a kind of repulsor, to lift the craft from the surface, maybe by means of gravitational waves, just ditching it and creating a roundish shape with modern parts, works well too.
  9. That's a sweet looking car, nicely done.
  10. I think the biggest benefit of a forum is the indexing and search, the way things are organized. I hope forums are here to stay for a long time, so far none of the "social media" I've experience, really surpass it
  11. RustyLego replied to shopsmart's post in a topic in Forum Information and Help
This topic was just what I was looking for, I also got the 0 messages allowed when trying to ask someone something about a moc they made...
  12. I agree, it looks like a fun build, but it won't appeal to everyone, whether because of the price tag, or due to some design choices.
  13. This might be the best Lego Spitfire I've seen so far. Proportions and overall shape look really good, brick-built camo, and moving control surfaces. If I had to nitpick on something, it's the ailerons being both down on the 3rd picture. With these when one is deflected down, the other is deflected up. Both down is only possible to elevator, or the flaps, but these are located more inward
  14. Nice collection of Vipers and I have to agree with lightningtiger, the original series one is the best
