  1. I agree with you man, it feels like a lot of people just defend a show like the acolyte because it aligns with their political beliefs.
  2. Why? It's the most hated Star Wars media vs the most popular. It doesn't "deserve" anything, there is very low demand for acolyte sets compared to other parts of Star Wars. Fans go crazy over a random clone set that's why they're making so many this year. The sequel sets we're shelf warmers, that's why they completely stopped making them for 5 years.
  3. "Plenty " is a reach, I've personally never seen or met a Star Wars fan who didn't like the OT. They are literally some of the most beloved and popular movies of all time. This would be like someone calling themselves a fan of The Godfather but they only like part 3, sure they exist but very very few. Yes I'm sure all 12 of them are very sad.
  4. I wouldn't mind that if they were in scale with the droideka.
  5. I honestly didn't know there were that many, I stopped watching the show after season 2 and I haven't kept up with the Lego sets.
  6. Mandalorian season 1 and 2? Sure, but after season 3 I think people are tired of it at this point. Rethinking it though perhaps Andor doesn't have as much set potential but I still think we should get a couple more than we're getting. Lastly, Lego clearly is trying to cater to the teen/adult market more which is the exact target audience of Andor, not sure why we're acting like Lego hasn't made more mature sets.
  7. I don't understand why we aren't getting more Andor sets this year as it's probably the most popular and well liked Star Wars show, it's the only Disney Star Wars show met with near universal praise. I think it at least deserves the same number of sets as The Mandalorian got.
  8. I like the V-19 but I think having it and the ARC-170 release in the same year is overkill.
  9. Wow, they look really good! I think if I tried to build a MOC of them they'd look closer to the original 2000 sets (if that lmao). Agreed on the second part I really enjoy seeing everyone's creativity on display, it's given me some inspiration.
  10. I'm kind of in the same boat with the Y-wing, I have the 2012 one and played with it a ton as a kid so it's seen better days, stickers peeling, lots of dust, etc. Did you build your own MOCS for the A and B wing? I might look into getting a B-wing MOC.
  11. As someone pointed out the age ratings differ per region in the US they're 13+. LEGO has made big bang theory and Seinfeld, I doubt they'd get hung up on a batman game that's generally the same rating as other movies and tv shows they've made sets on.
  12. I'm fairly certain the games are 13+ just like the movies (except knight).
  13. Technically the last non X-wing play scale rebel star fighter was in 2017 (Y-wing/A-wing) if we don't count the resistance sets. I'm biased towards the B-wing though as it's the only rebel starfighter I'm missing in my collection, and the 2014 set has gotten a bit pricey nowadays. I think Imperial and republic representation has been strong in recent years which is why I'm championing their counterparts so there's more of a balance in the factions.
  14. I don't really set out to army build any factions or troopers. I have accumulated a decent amount of troopers/droids from each faction over the years through buying sets and 1-2 of a battle pack when released. The only time I might make it a point to army build is when building a MOC (which I don't do often), the exception to this is the 2020 501st battle pack which I bought 5 of. I don't display any figures on a baseplate, but I will keep some factions vehicles grouped together on a shelf. 3 sets: 1. Rebel Battle pack similar to the R1 Battle pack where you can buy a couple and switch parts around. I think rebels are underrated for army building. 2. Droid specialist battle pack, tactical droid, 2 Magna guards, commando droid. Would add some nice variety to the droid army we haven't seen in years. 3. B-wing. We need more rebel starfighters. Good idea for a topic.
  15. P1 Captain Rex is probably my favorite, played with him a ton as a kid.
  16. I agree with the figures and I think they should all be between $40-$70 as that would feel more like mid-range pricing. I like that we're getting ships we otherwise probably wouldn't get like the Home one or invisible hand.
  17. We already know what Luigi would do to a CEO like Luthor
  18. Ok hear me out, Tie Crawler.
  19. They should make a ROTJ Falcon next, it would be nice to finally get another Lando.
  20. Bought a sealed Freeco speeder for a good price, gonna put Thi-Sen in my cantina.
  21. TDKR over The Batman? Honestly I'd probably rate them around the same, decent but has some flaws. Batman Begins and TDK are the best Batman films in my opinion.
  22. kinda crazy how the 2006 batcave is still the best one we've gotten.
  23. I'd guess a lot of people here including myself grew up with the prequels/clone wars. I think the highlight of the franchise was in the 2000's-early 2010s with the prequels, both clone wars shows, and all the books, games, comics and of course the Lego sets. I think the OT are the best movies but the prequels were still good enough to where they created an entire new generation of Star Wars fans.
  24. They did already make the 327th back in the day
  25. Buildable Chewbacca looks like what happens the next day after you eat.
