Where do you keep your Minifigures?
So, my local lidl didn't have the frame mentioned above. A bit of searching showed a seller on amazon at slightly cheaper but more once postage was added. The link is http://www.amazon.co.uk/SHOWCASE-Mounted-Display-Cabinet-Shelves/dp/B005C8W6SY/ref=pd_sim_sbs_kh_1 Sadly, the cheap one is the beech one. I much prefer the white one but sadly that's not discounted! Looks like a great deal in lidl based on the RRP though

Where do you keep your Minifigures?
Great find. I also have experimented with the ribba frame but find them too shallow. For example, the lizard guy doesn't fit in with his tail. Will make a trip to lidl. Hopefully still have some

UK Sales
My local WH Smiths are now selling the Olympic minifigures. Prices up to £2.49 but on the back of a receipt is £5 off a £15 spend so that makes it more reasonable.

Probably late to the party but Tescos have some amazing deals/misprices. Pretty sure they won't be honoured but you got to be in it to win it. Standout set is Hogwarts HP set for 25 quid

Erm, it's very grey and it's not the death star? (sorry it's the best I can do). WH Smiths are doing 5 off a 15 spend at the moment - on the back of receipts, which makes minifigures pretty reasonable.

The LEGO Idea Books
Wow, way to make a man feel old. I have the original 6001 leaflet albeit in a tatty ripped old state. I thought it came with my yellow castle but could be wrong as I was only 3 in 1980! What fab memories and fab ideas. Thanks for the share.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Managed to get 5 bags from WH Smith in Woking. Got 5 different ones too which is good considering they are behind the counter and you get what you are given. On the back of the receipt there is a five pound off voucher with a spend of twenty quid so that will make them a bit cheaper between Christmas and NYE which is when the voucher is valid. I got the mechanic, the patient, braveheart, minotaur and clockwork robot. Think this may well be my favourite series so far. Collecting them blind is much more fun as well imo.

Good shout. Went today and did my first pab. Got chatting to a nice guy who worked there who showed me the grab bags which I didn't see when I first went in. It's been fun rediscovering Lego.

Where can I go to buy collectable minifigures from series 1-4
I'm jealous of that too. Cheapest I've seen from a seller in the UK is just over £55. Suppose it's the price I pay for missing the boat and rediscovering lego a bit too late :/

Where can I go to buy collectable minifigures from series 1-4
I'm in the UK but have found a couple of WH Smiths who have series 3,4 in stock alongside series 5. Had to resort to Ebay for series 2. Not found a reasonably priced series 1 yet.

What licensed minifigs would you like to see...
All about James Bond. There are numerous comic style villains that live in these wonderful places. Off the top of my head... James Bond (different ones - can imagine Roger Moore's eyebrow on a figure) Moneypenny M Q Dr No Rosa Klebb (complete with shoe!) Goldfinger Odd Job Kananga Man with the golden gun Nic Nak Jaws etc etc....

Hi
Hi, my name is Luke, I live in Basingstoke in the UK and I have a confession. I have neglected my Lego for the past 20 years. I have moved house 3 times in my 34 years on this planet and whilst lots of stuff has been thrown away my Lego has always remained albeit in a big brown box. A few of weeks ago I bought a mini figure from WH Smiths. It was an impulse buy and I still don't know why I did it. 4 weeks down the line, my bricks have been sorted, 30 odd miniatures purchased, I've finally visited Legoland (never was one in the UK when I was a kid) and this website has been found. Thank you. Today I came full circle and made my first model, the yellow castle. It hasn't seen the light since the 80s and whilst I was missing about 6 bits I just used some spare bricks. I'm so happy. I'm getting married next year and I don't think my fiancee knows what to make of it. Just reading the forums now to see what I've missed in the last 25 years. Glad to be here
