10353 Williams FW14B
Yes I'll likely do so early March when this set releases. I'd love to see it when you're done! Looking at the available pictures from the Williams set, I actually believe no changes to the rear suspension will be necessary to accommodate the wide tires since they have deeper rims. Both the Williams and McLaren have their rear suspension pieces "5 modules" apart, but if you wanted to double-up tires on 10330 they have to be placed 3-apart to make it look right. I also wanted to mention that the designer here did a nice job adding gold pieces to imitate the active suspension which was a defining feature of the FW14B. They're a little exaggerated obviously but it's a detail that I certainly appreciate.

10353 Williams FW14B
I'm happy to present an upgraded/modded version of the official LEGO set that improves upon some of its proportions. I think the official set is very very good, but the engine cover/intake was too short and the nose was a little too long. The changes I made are fairly subtle but I think adds a lot to the look: Cockpit moved forward Rear wing moved backward Engine cover extended with better shaping Shortened the nose and fixed the yellow color proportions Exposed the leading edge of the front wing Cleaned up the rear and added a diffuser Since the instructions haven't been released yet I did my best to recreate it using the MP4/4 as a base model. However, not knowing the internal structure actually gave me a lot more liberty to change things around as I saw fit. Obviously still a WIP, but let me know what you think! 10330 McLaren MP4/4 F1 Discussion
Accommodating the double wheels actually required me to change the way the entire rear axle is built, narrowing it from 5 studs apart to 3 studs. The rear tires will look way too wide if you don't make this adjustment. The good news is that the 10353 tires look to be of the deep dish variety (screenshot from @kbalage's recent video). So if you use those you can keep the original "5-wide" rear axle and just slightly change the floor to make room for the wider tires. I'll probably keep the current parts list and instructions until the FW14B releases since this is what you can mostly do "today", or as a decent alternative in case it turns out to be really hard to get a set of 10353 tires. I haven't decided if it makes more sense to just revise or upload a new version :)

10330 McLaren MP4/4 F1 Discussion
Thanks for the post @TheDeeGee :) Mod designer here. I really wanted to avoid third-party stickers or 3D prints, and thank goodness the new 10353 set has the correct tires. TLG revealed the it right at the time I was finishing up my 10330 mod, and it really shows that they could have made 10330 so much better from the start. I also didn't quite understand why they went with a "rounded square" look on the back of the engine cover/sidepods instead of following the V-shape of the engine cover. I don't think I've heard many people complain about it, but it's very obvious if you compare top-views. No illegal connections or questionable techniques (as far as I can tell):

42107 - Ducati Panigale V4R - Mods and improvements
bentobrick replied to Didumos69's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingDidn't get around to buying the Ducati until right around its retirement, but here is my (very late) mod. Took a bit of inspiration from mods others have made and added a lot of my own stuff too. In the end, I wasn't really going for any particular bike, but it probably looks most similar to a streetfighter but with a double swingarm and large exhaust? Do let me know if there is something that this resembles. Mods: Removed the flimsy windscreen and opted for the Ducati streetfighter-style look with headlights Full front mudguard while still leaving room for suspension travel, no need to take apart the shock absorbers and it is very stable and secure Imitation brake calipers, brake lines, brake handles, and brake fluid reservoir Double swing-arm with centered rear shock. I really didn't like the twisting motion caused by the single arm with off-center shock Bigger exhaust pipe Full rear mudguard Rear view mirrors and rear lights Radiator Custom paneling to make the bike look less bloated, while at the same time keeping the mechanical details visible Removed one rubber band (had to flip the engine 180 degrees to avoid changing the frame) Widened the paddock stand for stability Hope you like it!

[MOD] 71821 Cole's Titan Dragon Mech Torso Upgrade
I decided to upgrade the torso of 71821 Cole's Titan Dragon Mech. A near perfect set in my opinion in terms of looks and articulation, but I didn't really like how the "power core" section of the chest stuck out so far with such a narrow torso. Using just 72 extra pieces, I managed to rebuild the torso, widening the chest and hiding more of the shoulder joints, added a canopy, and centered the head so the neck doesn't protrude up and forward all the time. I wanted to stay true to as much of the original design language as possible I also made some other minor mods to refine the head and add some bulk to the arms. Instructions on rebrickable!
