  1. It seems there are some afterwards modified F89's. So you are right. But they were not produced that way. I found the picture of that blue/red one from flickr. It has some interesting comments about the subject. Link to the flickr. ( When I tried to put up the link, I accidentally put here two pictures and don't know how to remove them.)
  2. Great work! You have eyes for details, but there is one detail that caught my eye. The F89 has steering wheel on the right side. F89 was never produced with right side steering. The reason is that the engine has turbo on the top of the engine. That made the engine so tall that it wouldn't fit under the cab. Volvo solved the problem by tilting the engine. It was tilted to the right side. So on the right side there wasn't room enough for the steering, pedals, gear stick and so on. That is why F89 has always steering on the left hand side. Both models look extremely realistic and the white bird looks like a little Michelin-man from a distance.
