TigerCat Feller Buncher MOC
Finally the feller buncher is ready and i found time to take pictures of it too. So here it comes: One motor is for using claw and spinning blade. Cutter head can be turned 360 degrees freely. Batterybox is located as rear weight. Power switch is under bonnet. Basic sideview. Saddly machine is quite heavy so my under structure is not the best one moving this thing. I remade the track system two times but i'm not still happy with it. Under hight torgue the whole gear system blows away. Video is coming later when i get it uploaded.

I like that it has many functions and looks like a real thing too.

Effe's MOC Corner
VHHH replied to efferman's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWow. Your truck looks amazing. The gearbox system is very clever. It could be fun to operate it. Do you have started to build trailer yet or do you finish the truck first?

TigerCat Feller Buncher MOC
Thanks for tip, I definitely need to check those videos. Little update. I made the cabin, but i'm not sure if it's too big compared to the rest of the feller buncher. It has openable door also which was quite hard to make open proper.

TigerCat Feller Buncher MOC
First i was thinking to make it use gearbox system but i didnt find the way to put more than 2 PTO through the boom. And another reason was playability, I liked it to be controlled like real thing. Bamboo is really good idea. Need to check if i could find it somewhere here. Otherway i could use little tree like alder or willow. Only problem is that those are much more heavier than bamboo. I'm planning to make video when feller buncher is complete. It's interesting to see what kind of video it is going to be because i have never made video before. Thanks for all comments.

TigerCat Feller Buncher MOC
Now it is time to present my newest MOC, TigerCat Feller Buncher. I've got inspiration to build this thing when watching Swamp Loggers tv series (pretty good series). It is fully PF controlled using 4 IR receivers and one regular batterybox. Functions: Tracks 1M motor for each one. Upper part turning 1M motor. Mainboom lift 1XL motor. Second boom lift 1M motor. Cutterhead tilt 1M motor. Cutterhead rotation 1M motor. Cutterhead grapple and spinning cutter 1M motor. So far all the functions are made to work. Maybe some improvements needed for example boom looks somehow ugly, maybe some panels fix that. But i can tell that better when i make progress. The real thing: Few pics from what i have done so far:

Valmet 6550 MOC
Finally got time to take pictures and upload them so here it is Valmet 6850 tractor. I've changed model to littlebit larger 6850 because i think it fits better. Functions are 4x4 via XL motor M motor to steer 1 M motor lifting and lowering rear hitch 1 M motor to use winch which uses the front hitch. Chech out all pics at http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/310627 or http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=497602 when it is public. Like Finntech said rear wheels could be bigger but harmles i dont have powerpuller wheels.

[WIP] John Deere Forwarder
VHHH replied to dhc6twinotter's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWow that moc is very good even it is not finished yet. You have a whole lot of functions on that thing, hope they all work very well. Cant wait to see it when it's done. Need to say that those on picture are cylinder heads which are used to turn the whole boom. There is gear racks inside those cylinders which turns the boom.

Valmet 6550 MOC
I will try it but if you search from internet you can see that front wheels actually are littlebit farter back than other manufacters tractors. Example http://www.rbiassets.com/GetImage.ashx/50415409886/61eaf03d.jpg/medium Havent build yet. But i'm planning to build 2axle trailer at first when i get this tractor done. And maby somekinda lowboy for my excavator too.

8110 - Unimog - MODs and Improvements
VHHH replied to tripletschiee's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI have viewed this site for some time and looked how amazing MOCs have you made so i decided to make my own too. So here it is: It has couple modifications to original. First I tried to follow U403 but I think its not looking like it. There is stronger and longer crane with manual operated turn. I cant found enough space to make it turn with motor. I added Stabilizers which use LAs and work with motor. Because there were not enough room for stabilizers on the middle I extend the model for 6studs (not sure for that) More pics here.
