Excellent MOC. He is going for the clone variant. I think it looks great. I wanted to try to make one too but havent done it yet. Her is a pic of the cartoon one.

Barnes and Noble has 30% off on some 2011 sets. Of note are the Republic Frigate and Sith Infiltrator. Also they have the 2012 sets at discounted prices 10% off. For instance the Sith Fury Class is marked as 82.75.
  7. I understand that and the UCS Venator probably wasn't the best example. But knowing that the current CUUSOO is a beta i think that is something that needs to be addressed. There is probably some projects with similar themes that if lumped into one package and just organized better or counted as one project could get more votes.
  8. Forgive me if this was already spoken about but my biggest problem with CUUSOO is the way it is set up. I am a SW Lego only collector and after doing a simple Star Wars search i see multiple different entries for the same set. For instance a UCS Venator or a different starfighter. Each has a few hundred or so "supports" What bothers me is that if all the UCS Venator CUUSOO entries were combined to one, the amount of 10,000 supports would not be as difficult and maybe we would acutally see more sets picked by fans. This is my small rant just wanted to get it out there.

Nanuet!!!! I am living in Suffern. Excited to see that they got them in but will prob buy from the palisades lego shop.
  10. After looking at pictures of both, im going to say yes they are the same.
  11. Yes they are stickers, i have to get better ones though as the ones i made were just a temporary fix.
  12. Sorry for the one blurry pic but it doesn't affect the size comparison.
  13. I dont have that piece but i do not think it would work well but you can judge for yourself. Here are the pics. without cape with cape The cape piece is from what I know new.
  14. That's true, but for someone like me who doesn't play the game, I will never know the difference and TLG is targeting kids seeing it as a type of tie fighter and the striker fighter as a type of x-wing most likely. If this does end up selling good it will be because of the ship itself not the source material IMO
  15. I bought every part on bricklink and didnt use any of my personal parts. It cost about 50$ but 20% of that cost is shipping since I had to order from 9 different stores.
  16. Hello Everybody. This is my first review so go easy on me and I hope I do a good enough job. Let me start by saying I have never played TOR, I just bought this ship because I loved the look of it. Here are the specs. Set Name: Sith Fury Class Interceptor Set Number: 9500 Piece Count: 748 Price: US 89.99 EU 99.99 GBP 79.99 # of Minifigs:3 (Darth Malgus, 2x Sith Troopers) The minifigures are the highlight of this set in my opinion. The Malgus figure alone is amazing, and here he is flanked by two equally awesome sith troopers. This one without the chest piece and helmets. The detail is amazing on the figures especially the chest piece for Malgus. Individual shots. Now for the build, since I didn't take pictures I'll have to just give my opinion. I really enjoyed it and the technic use in the wings was really interesting and fun. The model can be broken down into three main pieces. Believe it or not the wings are kept in place by only two red pins, one for each wing. Still the ship is very solid and has great swooshing ability. Close up of the wing mechanism. Top greebles. Here are some pictures of the ship and its gimmicks. Here are some comparison pictures. I choose the recent Tie and Vader's TIe to show it can seemlessly join there ranks also the x-wing to show the size, it is a small ship for its price which is a definite drawback. For the final part I took pictures of the instruction booklet as it came with that small comic at the end. Also I do not have the box as I got it on ebay with no box. Notice the leg printing on the Sith Trooper, looks like TLG left it out. The summer 2012 wave minifigs Overall thoughts: I really like the set as it is, but the price is horrendous for what you get. It is the same size as 9493 X-wing and costs US 30 more. I know the piece count is more but the price should not be that high. I was lucky to get this before most in the US because of catching the ebay listing from the people who do the brick show. I got it for a much cheaper price without the box which was worth it. I did leave out, there are stickers that add some detail on the inside of the wings. Overall I would recommend this set just for the Mini Figures which really are the highlight. I mean that Darth Malgus is beautiful. If anyone would like to request additional pictures please let me know as I can get them up within a day most likely. I am sure you would like to see some characters with Malgus's chest piece just let me know and if i have the figure i will do it. Thank you everyone. Hope you like it. Also Moderators please add a poll as I did not know how to do it. Thanks. REQUESTED PICTURES without cape with cape The cape piece is from what I know new. Sorry for the one blurry pic but it doesn't affect the size comparison.
  17. Here it is, my mod of Anakin's Eta-2 from set 9494. I really enjoyed building this one and in my opinion it is the best looking of the ETAs. The second being Obi Wan's. Here are some pictures. Now here is my "fleet" of Eta-2s. The only question remaining for me is, do I go ahead and make the Blue one that Obi-Wan uses and the Purlple (Mace from cw cartoon) and green (Saesee from cw cartoon) Now this is my evolution of Anakin/Vaders fighters.
  18. The rancoor definitely is the one from the padawan menace. though the one in the movie is bigger compared to mini figs. its in a different language then english but the clip is at 41:38 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B64kgBpE6lU&feature=related
  19. Do you also have better pictures/instructions of that E-Wing? Simply amazing and dead on.

  21. The Malevolence is on USA S@H with a ship date of 07/23/12. No other 2012 sets though, besides the UCS B-Wing
  22. Lego s@h has the UCS B-Wing up for preorder in the US. Not sure if this has been posted yet.
  23. Pretty sure the moderators made a decision when it was annoucned to place it in historic.
  24. They did the Helm's Deep Wall section and Helm's Deep.
  25. I love it, supported it on Cuusoo. Hopefully we can get to 10,000
