I am not sure if this is old news. but on lego.com's s@h the UCS Obi Wan Starfighter is on sale for $59.99 in the USA. That is $40 in saving. definately going to pick that up.

If you look at the wikia pages for both the Arc and the X-wing. The X-wing is a decendant of the Arc. The the Z 95 does come before both, but not the the Clone Z-95 http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Clone_Z-95_starfighter

Actual I mean making a Moc of an unexisting ship. taking cues from the x-wing and arc and bridging the gap between the two more. I know the z-95 does this but it is not what i am looking for.

This is just a general question. I was wondering if anyone has modified and Arc-170 fighter (8088 or 7259) into an X-wing style republic fighter? It is a moc i am thinking of doing since i don't need two Arcs in my collection and looking for some ideas.

I just noticed the lack of Republic detail? The symbol on the front of the right wing and the duel symbols on the back? Where this present in ROTS? I can't imagine they were removed that quick because of the newly declared Empire

I plan to take my Obi Wan Starfighter from episode III and swap out some pieces and make it his. I love that republic red color.

Mordor/Sauron also had Uruk Hai. They weren't only bred by Saruman. Goblin/Orc are interchangable. The Goblins in moria are just orcs that have adapted to life in the dark of the caves. All of this can be found on the Lord of the Rings wikia.

I dont think that anyone has mentioned it yet. But what I am really waiting for/looking for is a Sauron minifig mace and all.

I do not know much about the kingdoms sets but is that a new sword mold that aragorn has, cause it has the shape of narsil/anduril.

The one thing that really worries me about this is if lego fails to capture the epicness (not a real word) and size of some of the lotr sets. For instance Minas Tirith. I feel like it will be harder to do compared to star wars.

I think for sure there will be a Weathertop/Amun Sul set. could you imagine 14 minifigs, 9 ringwraiths, aragorn, and the hobbits.

Very excited for this, less for the minifigs, besides the orcs, but more for the sets. I hope they do a good job of say Helms Deep, Minas Tirith, Orthanc. THere is just so many opportunities. Also could definately see a video game for this similar to Star Wars/Indiana Jones.

Hello, I hope this wasn't discussed elsewhere, I have tried to search the forums with no luck. I recently purchased the Venator on ebay and was wondering if anyone has done some mods to it to close the gaps between the the bottom and top hulls? Or any other modifications?

That is simply amazing, where do you find room for all of that? Also do you think darth maul being on the boxes is tied to the fact that he is supposed to be in the clone wars show come the spring?
