According to my other half (who's a member on the essential baby forums), a woman who works at Target has mentioned that their big mid-year toy sale is going to be taking place in June this year - a full month earlier than normal. Apparently this information is known to employees of Target around the country. For further confirmation or denial, I'd advise you attack the sales persons in your local store for any info!

Hello all! Due to financial problems I am having to sell off all of my beloved Batman Lego sets. My original thought was simply listing them on eBay and seeing what they sell for but, thanks to the exorbitant fees that both eBay and PayPal charge, I'm having second thoughts. Therefore, I've decided to see if anyone in the Eurobricks community would be interested before I turn to the evil that is eBay. I'd prefer to sell to someone in Australia (simply because postage is easier to work out) but am open to anyone from anywhere buying the set so long as they don't mind paying the ridiculous postage prices that will come with it... All the sets are in excellent pre-loved condition (meaning they have been built and displayed - not played with). All stickers have been applied. All pieces are present and accounted for with the exception of a couple of the Batman minifigs. All instructions booklets are present and in excellent condition. Try having a look at the ACCC website and seeing if it says anything there about price marking. I'm pretty sure that DJ's would have to honour the labelled price, but I could be wrong...

Ninjago available at Target Tea Tree plaza for $16 each! Oops... Just noticed that someone else said this three days ago so just ignore me...

For Adelaideans, Target Tea Tree Plaza has three (almost full) boxes of series two minifigs down in the Lego section of the toy department!

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but apparently the Target toy sale catalogue goes online Wednesday (or so I've been told)...

I forgot to say in my earlier post... For anyone intersted, I spotted a half dozen copies of the DK Lego Star Wars book (the one with the celebration Luke minifig embedded on the cover) in the Tea Tree Plaza Target's book department for $35 each...

Just got back from Big W at Tea Tree Plaza with a pig farm for $47.66. It and all of the other new and on sale Lego can be found near the cash registers (head toward the garden section if you're thinking of going for a look see) They are also selling the big police station from last year for $88 and Luke's Landspeeder for $42.87... I didn't bother pricing anything else, sorry, as they were the only three things that tempted me...

Mt. Barker (Adelaide) Toyworld had half a box of minifigures sitting on their sales counter at 11 o'clock this morning... Using the barcodes I bought myself the robot, spaceman, wrestler and zombie. I also spotted atleast one or two of the diver, ninja, caveman, forestman and clown if anyone's interested in a drive up that way.

Just got back from visiting the Toyworld in the Myer Centre in Adelaide with a handful of the lovely little yellow bags full of Lego goodness (They have a box sitting on the counter next to the cash register as you walk inthrough the front door)... Got myself the cheerleader, clown, nurse and the crash test dummy (used the barcodes to find them). The box was perhaps two thirds full and I spotted the barcodes for the tribal hunter, ninja, robot and magician amongst others. If I had had more time and cash I would have tried for them all as I get the impression that they aren't going to be around for long. The woman who served me told me that an elderly woman had come in the day before and bought an entire box of 60...

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know when 7566 Farmer or 7684 Pig Farm & Tractor are hitting our shelves? It seems like ages since these were first announced...

I just finished putting the Helicopter and Limo set together and all I can say is... Very nice! I actually bought the set for the limo but upon completion I am far more impressed with the helicopter. It's quite simply one of the best copter's Lego has ever made...
