  1. I bought multiple and they all have the same issue. I'm sure it's not intentional or something. I just find it weird considering that they made it very clear the only change would be the packaging. My previous baseplates are from a long time ago. I think I bought one in 2017, but my other baseplates are from the 90's I think.
  2. Some time ago LEGO updated the packaging of the baseplates. At first people thought baseplates were going to be discontinued, as they were out of stock in most places. Because of this LEGO made a statement that baseplates would soon return, the only difference being the packaging. I bought dozen of baseplates in the past, as I build a lot of moc's, and recently I was in need of some more. So I went over to the shop and bought some new baseplates. However, after I removed them from their packaging I noticed these baseplates were different. First I thought I bought fakes or production error's, but I went over to the LEGO store and bought some more that show the same difference. I don't mind if they update or make change to their products, however a problem has occurred. I will make it more clear with some picture and a video I made. It's been a while since I bought some baseplates (maybe 2017), but to me it seems LEGO didn't only change the packaging, but they slipped in a new mold using less material. Unless they already changed it before. Here you can see the backside is already very different Pic1 These plates also seem to be made of e different less strong material, I hadn't even gotten home and one of them was already bent. Pic2 My biggest problem however is that there is a difference in height. The difference is very small, but enough that I can't connect a wall that is build over one of my old baseplates and connected to the new with the wall cracking over night. You can see the upper baseplate drops lower than the bottom baseplate.
  3. Oh, I see. Thank you for clearing that up.
  4. I regularly buy from pick a brick and lately I have noticed that there are duplicates of some items on the website, like the Bunny/Rabbit you can see in the image below. One is out of stock while the other is not, the only difference is the ID code. I have seen this with other pieces like the Carrot/Club or even a hips and legs piece. Is there any noticeable difference that I’m missing here? If I put either number in bricklink, it shows me the same item.
  5. Im building a relative big moc in Stud.io, and for keeping an overview I need to zoom out. However everytime I do so my moc becomes a bit blurry and bricks lose all outlines. I set all values on maximum, is ther anything else I can do to prevent this?
  6. Epic, very accurate build. I have visited it several times, very beautiful.
  7. I was looking into that, seems like a good option as long as they don't have a smirky smile. What can I say, I build big moc's with big battle scenes and I have been out fo the caste theme for about a decade so I have some catching up to do. I hadn't thought of looking into pirates, gone check that out righ away.
  8. So I have about 200 Black Falcons and Lion Knights and since I don't want to end up with a medieval clone army, I was looking into swapping some of the heads to get some diversity. I checked some of the previous factions and there are some good headprints among them, but I wonder what headprints other people use to get some variety, so any suggestions are welcome.
  9. I will try to take some later today.
  10. Hi all, I just bought one of the new baseplates 48x48, this in order to continue the layout of a (Castle)moc I'm working on. After adding the plate to the moc and starting to build on it, I noticed it keeps tilting and lifting up and down. Apparently there is a height difference with the old plates. The section of the moc has a wall overlapping 2 baseplates and it shows the weight on the rest of the plate is pulling on the wall and making it separate when moved around. I only bought one, so maybe it's an error. But could anyone check if they have the same problem?
  11. Wondering if the guard in the village set might be from the Crusader Axe faction. Great way to indroduce more figures of the faction, since there is already a new shield with the crossed halberds pattern. It doenst seem that far out of reach. But that is probably wishful thinking.
  12. Its only for the US though. I didn't check the region and filled up my basket, but it would only let me select an adres in the US. So I check for EU and most of the items are either not available or out of stock. Still nice of you to share!
  13. I think they just wanted the logos to match with the Black Falcons updated design. It would be awesome to have a few of the old logos (wolfpack, Black Knights) in an updated form. I'm more surprised they did not include an "ovoid shield" for either the Black Flacons or the Lion Knights with the new logos, I know it was not around in the 80's and only got introduced in the early 90's, but it would have be a nice addition.
  14. Well, they way I do it is, I load the LXF file with Studio (most of the bricks stay in place, but some bricks like 36840 and its friends like to misbehave and go a little crazy, so you have to manually fix them). But other then that studio can render most files made in LDD.
  15. Wolfpack also sufferd from this, some shield and torso prints are more clear than others. Even recent tthemes like Kingdoms have this problem, mostly in the chess sets. There was a review about the kingdoms chess set that pointed this out very well.
