  1. Thanks all for the great reactions and comments. I have one week left for the delivery and the German event Floating Bricks from the 17e and 18e of March in Hamburg. Here the teaser picture for the promotions for the Stein Hanze RLUG and Hamburg Führer for use at (social) Media for the organisation of the event. Even the ship is just smaller than minifig scale that i have use the event fig from the same event from last year. IMG_7369 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  2. Also for bending al the railings and sprinkler pipes with riged hose is done this way.
  3. There is a copper wire inside a riged hose what is bent in the right direction and than i put over the ribbed hoses.
  4. Today the stickers come in and made by JaapTechnic and the quality is great again and looks stunning on her.?Also the crane is build and have to change the yellow hinge, for a black one and is orderd. The crane can fold in and out.Now only some sprinkler nozzels and the transport box. 5. Great update Clive and don't own this set and is great to see how your build is groing.
  6. Thanks @jim7564, and use what you can and the base of the wheel house are a lot of SNOT different techniques togehter. To give you some information on the next project it will be the Telstar for Iskes Towage and Salvage. This is also a crasy tug and is a design of a Eddy tug and must build here with a open engineroom. telstar-27 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  7. Almost there, only the crane, stickers, sprinkler nozzels and the transport crate have to be made. Today i got a reaction from the captain who is sailing the same sister ship the Fairplay XI here in the Netherlands and loved her. Know lets hoop that the Client in Hamburg love her to. The build so far was a real challange. For this 60 cm long and 27,5 cm wide and build at the scale 1:50 is the parts count extreme high and above the 12000 parts. The only way to seen her in real live there will been one change at the event Floating Bricks from 17e and 18e of March in Hamburg. After the event she will stay there with her new owner.? 8. You are correct with the exhausts and was not ready with them, but bend them so extremly was not possible. IMG_7341 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  9. Today was the day for small buids and deatils on the Fairplay IX and the mast and all the lights are now standing and working. Also have to clean tomorow my desk, because it's a mess. IMG_7338 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7331 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  10. Thank you so much for your great comment my dear friend.
  11. Thank you @Johnny1360. There is nothing glued on this ship and when you must glue it than it cost twice the building time. Some parts are a little fragile, but overal very strong.
  12. The watercanons and pipes are now standing correctly, also the roof and stairs from the wheelhouse to. IMG_7326 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7324 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  13. LOL everything is strange on this tug. The trusters are at the bow, the chimneys are at the bow and the crane also. The wheelhouse settings looks to the stern and the hull have two bows, so just i said it's a strange tug.
  14. Yes, yes @Ludo Visser tease me. And because this ship sailing almost only backwards, that even me makes mistakes. You are complete right about my minefigs and are all literally handi(less)capped. Here are the last update and the base from the wheelhouse is now standing. 15. I use a 4.5 volt USB adapter to 220v. with this systeem you can choose with 220v and a powerbank and conected by a USB cable. Oeps your right and have changed it. Officialy this ship has a bow, but sailing normaly in the wrong direction.
  16. I can see now the pics, but your older pics are not visible here.
  17. The most easy way is use a Flickr acount ore some other photoshare programs and you can than choose the right link and format to post here at EB.
  18. Every day she grows fast and hope i make the deadline over two weeks. IMG_7306 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7307 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7304 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7310 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7313 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  19. Absolute stunning model B.O.W and the details are spot on. also the stickers from Jaap looks amazing good on her.
  20. Thanks you @LEGO Train 12 Volts. Thanks @jim7564, It's a little bit smaller than minifig scale and is build in 1/50.
  21. Building the details is the most fun on any build. I had today not so much time that i wanted to spend on her, but have build some of the outside sprinkler pipes with the nozzels and the liferaft settings, also the superstructure is almost done. IMG_7296 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7300 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  22. First pictures of the deck lighting on the superstructure. The quality of the photo's are not the best and sorry for that and is taken quick in the dark with no triepod. IMG_7287 by VFracingteam, on Flickr IMG_7288 by VFracingteam, on Flickr
  23. Hi @Ludo Visser, It's great to hear from a builder like you are, likes my work. Still learning every day new techniques and parts what Lego ever produced over the years and what i can use for my builds. For this project my customer and aslo a well know person in the Lego scenes, challenged me to build this extreme round tugboat with two bow's and must be smaller than Minifig scale. That is why i have to set the bar so high for myself alone to get all the details spot on. Maybe it's a gift, but when i seen a real object that i have to be translate to Lego and have the inspiration flow, than it's comes naturally out my hands. Many thanks @KD123 for the kind words and glad you like the WIP stages.
