There are no stickers in this set. There are six identical printed 2x2 tiles.

This is why I'm going to try to get the following sets together for a water-related theme: Ninjago City, Old Fishing Store, Fun at the Beach (on a tan plate), and possibly the Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu.

I took my daughter Halloween shopping today and next door is the third trus in my area. I didn't have time to go to this one yesterday and besides, it didn't show the set I wanted online as a pickup item, which I assumed meant they didn't stock it. I asked the service desk and they told me they were out of the promo item. I could have left but I just wanted to take a quick look for something. In the Lego section, I found two Ninjago promo sets and more than twenty of the jungle promo. And in the city section, I found one yellow promo set... I was like that lady in that Ikea commercial where I would be yelling at my husband to 'start the car'! I have no idea why or how it was there. And best yet, the set that I thought they didn't have in stock, was more in stock than in the other stores. So happy ending. From my experience, this final promo set seems super popular. Hope I'm wrong and I'll eventually find tons of them at clearance prices.

Looks cool but seems a bit cramp (for adult hands). When I hear arcade, I think of the one's in the movie TRON, but I suppose the modern arcade is of the win-tickets type like Chucky Cheese. Are those arcade cabinets on the second floor? Not sure if I would want them exposed to the weather like that, but I suppose it almost never rains in LEGOLAND. I love the tetris mural in the back. And how do people get to the second floor?

Argh, I went to two stores today and they were clear out of any bricktober sets. The first store's cashier actually came back with an aquaman lego dimensions set and as she was ringing it up, I was like "What are you doing?". And the next store only had the LEGO batman set left. I would have thought this final set was the least popular but I guess I was wrong. Another theory is that since stores get all four sets in the beginning, they probably mistakenly sold a future week's sets when they ran out of the current week's. Maybe after october, I hope they have some left-over inventory they will put on the shelves. Do they ever sell post-bricktober sets online or at least let you purchase and pick-up in store? I was really looking forward to that sailor suit.

I know we hate waiting, but we should pace ourselves as this is just the start of the journey. First we have to wait for the announcement, but even after the announcement, we will still have to wait a few months before we can actually purchase it. But then I would probably wait until a 2x points day to purchase it, which means almost another whole year wait. The only exception was the Detective's Office, which had a promo flower cart set that was designed to go with the building, so I snatched that right away. And those are times when it is finally worth using your VIP points.

You don't even need to get out of the house. They are selling them for that price online and of course free shipping with red card.

I'm confused... Does 'release' = 'announced but can't buy'? or does 'release' = 'can buy'? Or maybe you meant when the 'press release' is released, and not when the actual set is released for sale. In that case, then November is highly possible. Anyway, I and history agrees with you that the next modular will be released on Jan 2018. If they announce something before the holiday buying season but not have it available until after, then won't people decide to buy less over the holidays because they are saving their money for the upcoming set? They should announce it and have it available for VIP purchase right away and then public purchase two weeks later.

The release date of a modular building set has never been in December. It will be announced earlier, like in November, but it won't be released for a months or two after. The last four modular buildings were released in January, which is annoying since that is past the December promotions.

I'm not doubting your source, but those timings are pretty standard for recent releases of the modular sets.

I'm not sure if LEGO even cares about our aggravation. They started numbering their brickheadz boxes so everyone will clearly notice the gap reserved for the convention exclusives.

I made an order with a back-ordered item. Then days later, I make another other with a back-ordered item and an in-stock item. Both orders have promo items. Nothing in the first order has shipped and the promo items are listed as 'in process'. The second order had the promo items shipped with the in-stock item. So at this point, it doesn't seem like LEGO will ship a box with only promo items, but perhaps it's too soon to tell.

LEGO did report a decline in revenue in 2017. These larger sets do tend to stick around for about two years so people maybe holding off on purchasing them right away or focusing on smaller sets.

I wonder what they will do next to make us feel bad? Release Luke and Leia at conventions and release Anakin and Padme for mainstream?

I looked at the top ten priciest set from each year, via brickset, and it looks like costs went up sharply from 2015 and stayed about the same in 2016. I ordered a backordered item and the order included some free promo items. Will LEGO hold those promo items for me until my whole order is available? Or is it possible that by the time my order is ready to ship, they run out of my promo items?

They scanned one of the dimensions packs and didn't see the offer come up. They pretty much have the computer/register determine the available offers. I didn't really push the issue so let me know if you have different results. Ultimately I had to buy regular LEGO sets to qualify. With two separate transactions, I bought enough to get two of the promos. They still had the ninjago promo from the previous week, but the system wouldn't let it be scanned under the promo. So they scanned another batman promo set but put the ninjago one in my bag.

Lego Dimensions don't qualify for Toysrus' Bricktober promotions.

I want to see more of that dragon! I think in the last pic, we only see its rather large head.

Do you think Lego Dimensions packs count?

I was expecting something on the level of Ninjago City, but this is just meh.

The sad thing is, in the US, amazon is not even selling wave 9. I think there is some contract dispute with Warner Bros, but c'mon!

To me, it's seems rather unlikely for LEGO to explicitly mention the page count of the Carousel manual and then suddenly, in the same sentence, change units. Some people have speculated that 2.56x refers to the volume or dimensions of the manual, but if that number refers to parts count, then not only are we changing the units, but also the object being measured.
