  1. I do too, but most shows take a holiday break. News does not stop happening over the holidays though.
  2. In 1998 they did not make licenses at all. Point is that 1.There is a first time for everything, and 2.If they want to do something, they will do it.
  3. True, and Star Wars takes much inspiration from history.
  4. Yes and no. The droid itself is the one in the advent calender and the Death Star, but the wheel is a pin with a cheese slope on the end (an illegal connection).
  5. Not a hater. I still do not understand.
  6. Good point, but TLG has made sets for AFOLs and TFOLs.
  7. Good point. I wonder if they do it also to get the most use out of a mould. I had forgotten the ctt; that one was really weird. I do think I said " most" not '"all" though. If not, I ment it. Where else could Fox go though? (In terms of sets out at the time) I'm not a dimwit. What does the second "p" stand for?
  8. The quad is from the City forest police station.
  9. Nor do I.
  10. True, however; as I pointed out, they could easily make sets that would make more sense. Think about cases of random-fig-placement in the past - Master Ti in the T-6 shuttle - Master Ti has only been seen on Kamino, and away from any vehicles - Master Vos in the Republic frigate - he was only in one episode, and away from any vehicles that TLG would make etc. TLG will put minifigs in sets that make sense when they can, but if they can't, they will resort to r-f-p. Also, the MTT will have plenty of minifigs on its own without r-f-p, unlike the T-6 or Frigate. In addition, these cases have made some sense, however putting a character into a scene that take place long after his death makes no sense.
  11. PotC is too, so maybe it would be better to list all the themes so as to avoid confusion. Edit: so are DC and Marvel.
  12. You forgot World Racers. It is too early to know about Monster Fighters.
  13. That sounds good, especially if the contest is some type of Ninja-games with various kinds of obstacle courses, thereby ensuring the ability for many sets to be made.
  14. Osi Sobeck and Darts D'Narr would not be in the MTT, however TLG could make them. Maybe I need to rewatch those episodes, but I think that Osi Sobeck's head could be made using an Alien Conquest Alien commander head. For Darts D'Narr and other Zygerians, TLG could use a standard, printed head, with hair and ears as a seperate piece (like the CMf elf) and make a helmet to fit a standard head so that it would fit both Zygerians and Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Rex. Riff Tamson would not be hard either, they could make a headpiece like the shark-men in Atlantis. Putting them in sets would be easy, to: D'Narr - Zygerian slave ship Tamson - Trident Sobeck - Seperatist cargo ship
  15. The TCW MTT would likely come with Gungans (if based off "Shadow Warrior"). Not Jar-Jar perhaps, but other Gungans. The set would probably include: General Grievious, Tarpals, 2 Gungan Warriors, 12 B-1 Battle Droids, 2 Oom-Class Pilot Droids, 2 (or more) B-2 Battle Droids. Other minifigs that are less likely: the Gungan traitor [name?], Jar-Jar as Boss Lyonnie [spelling?], Padmé, Anakin, Dooku, Commando Droids, Magnaguards (these would more likely be in a set of the ship on which Anakin and Padmé came to Naboo [name?])
  16. Prince of Persia is Disney too.
  17. Re-sale value (Bricklink, Ebay, e.t.c.)
  18. Thanks!
  19. I posted this in the Alien Conquest thread. TLG may, however, make a theme similer to, and inspired by, Halo; using the new CMs pieces. (Think Adventurers & IJ; Pirates & PotC; Castle & LotR) Note: Castle and Pirates that I refer to are the (more) recent sub-themes by those names, not the entire themes themselves.

The Kingdoms Joust set will be out at the same time as the LotR sets. Probably this is what they were talking about. How many kids have watched The Clone Wars, liked it, and then wanted to watch the movies - including ones that are about 30 years old?! The Hobbit movie might create interest in the old movies in the same way that TCW likely did for Star Wars.
  21. What do you mean by "realistic"?
  22. LEGOman273 replied to Oky's post in a topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As I do not have any inside info, this is just my opinion. I don't think so as we haven't heard anything about it. It would not surprise me if this were the case as TLG has been making many one-wave themes lately (World Racers, Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Conquest?).
  23. But ***** is not a snake - he just has green robes on. Snakes come in colors other than green - Fangpyres are red, but Kai has not been bitten. Does anyone know when the new season of Ninjago will start? I thought sometime in January.
