Adding electronic to the sets, a part of being opposite to zero carbon footprint policy, are a bad idea:
Electronic artifacts has a programmed obsolescence that makes that this artifacts stop to work after X uses, that means that the item that brings sense to the set disapear
That artifacts make that the price of the sets increase a lot, making then not affordable for the kids (their target public)
If you start the race, you can't stop (if you create a standard and a necessity, you are obligated to not only include the artifacts in all the future sets, but also, developing new and advanced artifacts with every time more functions)
