  1. Hoping I could get some help on this project. I have used BrickStock to modify the 10179 inventory with some part subs that @bmerigan recommended on his blog - (http://merigan.tk/lego/blog.php) and am now ready to start ordering. I have read that buying some parts from LEGO Bricks & Pieces and Pick a Brick could be less expensive at times but it seems quite the undertaking to check each and every part on the list. Is there software that can help me out with this? I am about to try the Brickficiency application but understand this is only for Bricklink. Does anyone have a list of parts that should be ordered from LEGO directly? Any help would be much appreciated!!
  2. ^ I received a similar response within a few hours of sending my email. Here it is: Dear Mark, Thank you so very much for getting in touch with us. Isn’t it exciting that there are so many new LEGO® sets every year? It’s great to see you’re eagerly waiting and trying to find out about what we’ve planned for the future. I'm sorry that I can’t tell you anything about any new Lord of the Ring sets, at the moment. Something in that theme might be coming soon, but our new toys are always kept secret until they’re announced in the catalogue or onLEGO.com. That’s because it takes a long time to design and make new toys, and we sometimes need every minute until they hit the shelves to make them perfect. Besides... we look forward to surprising you!
  3. I just sent off an email to customer service and will let everyone know what comes back. I would be floored if the LOTR line is finished as they still have so much left to do.
  4. I would also love any indication on where or how you made the cuts!
  5. \Thanks! Must have missed it on BrickFactory!
  6. Hey, hoping this is the right thread to post this in. I just found a 10001 Metroliner in a bulk lot I purchased but after going through it the stickers are pretty banged up. I have always wanted this set and would like to restore it to a better condition so I was hoping someone had a sticker scan for 10001 they could share with me. Anything would be helpful at this point. I would prefer not to spend the $25-$30 on BL for a new sticker sheet if possible. Thanks!
  7. Wow, thanks for pointing this out! I will be sorting through my old greys and buying some more castle walls off of BrickLink shortly!
  8. These are all outstanding! I have recently getting back into my 80's castle stuff and trying to find other sets to complement my Black Falcons Fortress. This will give me some inspiration! Do you MOC all of these in LDD before you build typically?
  9. Nice work on the BNSF. Very Excited for the Super Chief stickers to be available!
  10. What a great MOC! I would love to build something like this for our layout. The grey rolling stock is outstanding as well and will have to add a couple of those to my freight train!! Thanks for the inspiration.
  11. Excellent review! Thanks. I can not wait to get my hands on at least one of these (-:
  12. I'd like to see what you came up with. I have been thinking about doing my own MOC on this train!
  13. I would love to see the other pictures that were removed if the OP could repost or direct me to a Flickr account maybe?! Thanks!

Was anything ever produced. My 10020 and 10025 could use new stickers (-:

I voted for 6990 because I own it and it was also the first!
