It isn't. The castle you see attached to movies is a composite of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty Castle. I'd be surprised if this was the only D2C Disney set, but I agree that a follow up would be difficult. Sleeping Beauty Castle would be obvious, but it doesn't have the same recognition as CS, plus would they really want to have two castles.

This is a ridiculously good MOC. Seriously impressive stuff.

Given Disney's plans for ToT you'd probably be disappointed with the end result.

Just ordered mine. Worryingly for my bank account, it probably won't be the last copy I buy. Love WDW (even in its current woeful condition) and it's always been a goal to do a decent minifig scale Cinderella Castle. I really like the Lego set and it provides a excellent jumping off point for something closer to the real deal. Now to explain this to my wife

Looks like the Claas is joining the Volvo in my collection this year. It'll the first year in a long time that I won't be picking up the "flagship" set. The Inverted radar dish has appeared in red before. I know because I just barely got some (before brickset featured them for a colour mod) for my Ferris wheel 10247.

I'm considering doing the same thing, but I'm guessing that 2 sets won't cover it and that you'd still need a fair bit of extra parts for the base section. The set is better than I anticipated. There's a couple of issues for me... The open back for one, which is totally understandable unless you want a 1000 euro set. The towers could be better, not a fan of stickers for texture. Might swap out the big panels for bricks as well. I have to say the little homages to various classic Disney movies is really nice idea for the interior - because let's face it the real thing isn't exactly play feature friendly.

That'd be The Most Magical LEGO set on Earth Robert ;) Happiest would be for Disneylands Sleeping Beauty Castle. Really looking forward to this set.

That looks absolutely brilliant. Could you tell me what colours you've substituted. Some look like dark blue or black there. Finished a 99% accurate CC two months ago. It was a great project, but I spent way too much on it. The only way I can justify a GG now would be with the Masonary blocks or Brick yellow version. This just made my mind up.

Toying with the idea of Bricklinking a Cafe Corner and I've already got a couple of questions. The most urgent one is on colours. Bricks and Pieces and Bricklink have different names for the colours. Take for example a 1x4 plate that's called Dark Blue on Bl, on BnP it's Earth Blue. There's no mention of Earth Blue as a colour on Bricklink! Are these the same thing, and if so why does BL have a different name?

Saw the Gollum poster on the mainpage and thought it was fantastic, then I saw the minifig.... What happened to it?!?

I'm an idiot. Just walked away from it since this morning and the missing piece was practically shouting at me when I returned. Had it in place of an 11 wide in a really odd location.

Just building this now and I think I'm missing a piece - which would be a first in my 30 years of lego sets. I've just started putting the windshield together and I'm missing a 13 black beam. There should be 8 of these altogether, but I've two light grey, three dark grey and two black. Can anyone who's assembled this confirm that the cab, both vertical beams at the back behind the seats and lower window shield be both black? If it is missing, this is something I didn't think could happen with Lego, but as I said earlier this is my first set in maybe five years so maybe QC has slipped?
