  1. Thanks for all the responses, still not sure what the heck is going on, my PC seems to be up to date as possible, uninstalled and reinstalled and still no dice... Does anyone know if there are specific versions of quictime or anything that need to be installed?
  2. Ok so after coming out of my dark ages I found the wonderous program that is the Lego Digital Designer, I found that it will do a lot of stuff that I want when creating my own MOC's, I ran it happilly under XP then bought a brand new laptop with...Vista... Now when I first tried to get it to run I found on the lego site that Vista isn't supported, but recently that changed to "Vista is Supported!" But when I install it and try to get it to run I still have the same issues the general "Lego DD cannot run, contact support" I have E-Mailed them to no avail. Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?
  3. Coming from one just recently out of their dark ages, I really don't see the point to all the fantasy stuff right now. I mean, its cool to a point, but one of the things that I liked was the grounding in reality that the Castle series had for all those years. I really don't think that a set with Elves would even be Castle, why not do a Fantasy sub line like Batman, something out othe scope but still compatible. Bring back the human factions and really ratchet up the quality [Castle Corner anyone?"

Landlubber: I have a HUGE volume of this track, thats the problem...I think I might have around 25 - 30 feet of the stuff, but it may be less. Regardless thats a lot of track to not have a use for. I am TOYING with the idea of buying one of the new train [RC] ones and putting the motor and stuff on that to see if it would work...
  5. Same issues with Walmart here in Utah in the USA, I went hunting for Aqua Raiders stuff, I am pissed, the one I was at had the old tags up, I could have grabbed the base for $30 but I missed out, oh well. Still hunting. I am seeing a lot of 2008 stuff showing up in our stores, but not impulse sets, or the restocking of things like the Big Castle. Will have to see what happens

Ok so heres the deal I have the 7745 http://guide.lugnet.com/set/7745 and I want to use it in a new town layout I am working on here...Couple of questions Was there ever a 12V transformer released in North America that would work with this? I have found the european versions all over including the one that can run the lights etc, with a converter will they work?
  7. Well out here in Utah in the USA I have seen some markdowns as well, so far the City Port and Batman seems to be the major ones. I am going to go out and see if I can get one of those Aqua Raider bases if I can find one on sale.
  8. Ok since I am realatively new back in the LEGO scene [gone for 20 years] and an AFOL, what is this about color changes, the AT-ST I bought had old grey as did the AT-AP
  9. Personally I would love to see a move away from the fantasy and back to the nice traditional human factions with nice castle architecture, call me in the minority.
  10. Thanks for all of the kind replies... Yes 20 years is a long time, I was always still aware of Lego, and I still thought it was great stuff, but as I became older I got interested in other things [girls, jobs, cars etc.] but I never lost a love of
