  1. I don't think it will happen like that but it would be nice.... they could even attach the Gollum's Cave to the "Goblin Town" somehow. And I hope they make a Rivendell set too.
  2. I'm very excited about these sets. Hope they'll get to Chile (my country) soon enough. Anyway, the real reason why i'm posting here is because I think the Frodo minifigure in Shelob's Lair should've been different. In fact I guess it should've been the same that comes with the Arriving of Gandalf set with the same "dark green" cape. Here's a picture of Frodo in that scene: Is weird that no one has realize that before, at least the creative team in lego should've come up with this idea right away.
  3. Wouldn't have much more sense that the White Hand printed in the helmet would´ve been a lego hand? That human hand seems kind of out of place. Still haven't totally convince me
  4. There has nothing completely confirmed about the script of The Hobbit films, except that there'll be 2 movies, and besides the basic story from the book they'll include some references to the White Council and the Battle against the Necromancer from Dol Guldur (revealing that it was no other than Sauron). That, with the proper development, should be enough filling between both sagas, I don't think ther is much more to tell about how they connect, specially since a lot is said in LotR trilogy about Bilbo and the founding of the One Ring. My guess is that the first movie of The Hobbit will end in the Mirkwood, after Bilbo has rescued the Dwarfs from the spiders and find out that Thorin is missing, maybe showing him prisoner of the Elven King. So, I think Barrels out of Bound will be a set form the second Hobbit movie.
  5. Well, wit the sets you will have, the only character missing to get the whole fellowship will be Aragorn, so maybe you can get Weathertop too and you're done.

    Nice Stairs!
  7. With the now official announce that there will be sets form The Hobbit before this year ends, I guess The Unexpected Party in Hobbiton, Rivendel, The Trolls, Riddles in the Darks and Beorn's Hose, are the most likely sets to be released, maybe even one of the Spiders in Mirkwood (my guess is that the fisrt film will end up in this point, with Bilbo's becoming the savior of the Dwarfs and Thorin captured by the Elven King) and maybe one of the White Council in Dol Guldur or something like that.
  8. Those moving towers (the one moved by the trolls to siege the castle) looks fine to use it in a MOC of Minas Tirith and the Battle of Pelennor Fields

    Nice!
  10. That Frodo torso is perfect, where did you get it?
  11. I just love all of them!! I'll get them all... I guess i'll try to buy 2 Uruk-Hai Army and after have all of them builded, I'll use Weathertop, Moria and even that little entrance to the cave of Shelob along with all the pieces form other sets that I have that may use to build a bigger and more detailed Helm's Deep... Ahhh! Can't wait to have them all!
  12. Have you noticed the lack of women in the sets? There's no even one, and it's no that Tolkien's work had so many but an Arwen, Eowyn or Galadriel would've been nice. It seems like both, Lego and Tolkien, aren't very interested in giving us much female characters In other topics... I'm kind of dissapointed in the number of Black Riders/Nazzgul we're getting. I need to have 9 and we're getting only 2 in a set that should've come with at least 3. My counts tell me that is very difficult that Lego gives us enough sets to reach the 9 riders without buying repeated sets, or having to buy the minifigs separately: - There should be a set with one Black Rider minifig sniffing/sensing the ring when the hobbits are hidden in the root of a big tree. - There should be a rider minifig in the passing of the Buckleberry Ferry scene. - Maybe 2 more riders minifigs in a sets that represents the attack in the Prancing Pony. (Without the horses probably though) - And finally 2 more Nazguls in the scene of the ford, when Arwen and Frodo escapes from them by the rise of the river. Being as optimistic as posible we're only getting 8 Black Riders with probably just 6 horses and who knows in how much time, because launching these sets may take a while. Let's hope LEGO think of a nice way for us to get all the Nazgul in it's Black Riders version just by buying diferent sets. What do you think?
