MOC: Quality Hammers & Tools
Thanks! Yeah I got a bunch of these windscreens as a freebie from a prior public display and they immediately appealed as an industrial roofing material. There's not currently an interior as it was built for an upcoming train display. I think that unless I can come up with something exceptional it'll remain empty. Am I that predictable? LOL! /shakes head slowly and goes to find a pile of Friends-colored pieces for my next MOC/ Thanks for all the kind words!

MOC: Quality Hammers & Tools
MOC: Quality Hammers & Tools I had an idea of creating a advertising sign with a Lego Rosie the Riveter/MC Hammer mashup (please don't ask why) and I had to then create a building to support it. It's a Track-side Freight Station for Quality Hammers & Tools, Inc. It has brick-built sliding doors, a rear loading bay, a wooden covered set of access stairs to the second floor and a new (to me at least) design for a worn out roof. Here's the roof detail (so many plates!) I had seen a commercial product for a scale railway building and it had an effective looking wooden covered access stairs so I decided to see if I could recreate it in Lego. Here's the rear loading bay and a close up of the source inspiration for the entire building. Whole lotta Rosie! MOC: 8-bit Tina Belcher
MOC: 8-bit Tina Belcher I've been on a bit of a Bob's Burgers building binge for the last couple of months. First, Bob's Restaurant, then the Food Truck, then Mort's Funeral Home and Crematorium, then finally Butt Stuff - the building next door. I thought I'd finally shaken off the obsession, but I guess I couldn't let it go. First it was a silhouette then I built my first maxi-fig sculpture. And both are of Tina, naturally. Here's the silhouette. It's entirely SNOTted. And here's the maxi-fig sculpture. The arms are articulated, but movement is somewhat limited by the top of the sleeves, the fingers are also moveable, the face was built upside down and it was bloody cold outside when I took the pictures. Hope you enjoy it! Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comments, criticism and ridicule most welcome! More stuff and nonsense on Flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/eurotrash48903/

2016 LEGO train MOCs
The first part of 2016 will be spent in a frenzy of trackside structures, stations and signal boxes as our LUG (KCBricklab) has been invited to display at a large Model railway hobby exhibition in March in Kansas City. After that I hope to continue work on a variety of streetcars.

Winter Village: Mountain Shelter
Excellent MOC! I like the interior details, but the outside really does looks like a genuine mountain Hostel. Chapeau!

[MOC] Dublin Convention Centre
I like this a lot. The curved glass frontage, the tan arches meeting the glass, the lights, the doors, the interior detailing - it's all excellent. Thanks for sharing it with us

Another exceptionally fine MOC LT12V. You've really captured the intricacies of the original. I can't wait to see the next one.

MOC: It's Your Funeral & Butt Stuff
Remember though KlodsBrik dr_spock is not a real Doctor and is not licensed to give advice over the internet. Thanks for all the comments. I've had an insane reaction to this final build of a series of MOCs. I had also posted this on the Facebook group I'm in and it got picked up on reddit. Within the first 24 hours I had 26,000+ views and I had an inbox full of requests for instructions and pleas to get this added to Lego Ideas (neither of which are going to happen).

MOC: It's Your Funeral & Butt Stuff
MOC: It's Your Funeral & Butt Stuff If you're a fan of Bob's Burgers the title of this post will hopefully make a lot of sense. If you're not then next door to Bob's restaurant there's a Funeral Home owned by the wig-wearing Mort. On the other side of the restaurant there's a shop that has a different owner every week complete with a terrible pun - I couldn't resist the idea of a printed pair of baggy Y-fronts on a Lego transparent panel so I went with Butt Stuff Underwear Outlet. Here's a street level view Source images of the Butt Stuff building were especially difficult to locate. The best image I found was a screen grab from an episode (the wife got very used to me pausing the show and grabbing my phone to capture a particular view And here's the approximate view of the MOCs Mort's It's Your Funeral Home & Crematorium Butt Stuff Underwear Outlet That's me done now! I've now built the restaurant, the two adjacent buildings and the Burger Van. It's time for a break from Bob's Burgers - unless of course I start on Jimmy Pesto's Pizzeria! Comments, criticism and ridicule most welcome!

Micro train curves - any ideas?
You'll get a smoother curve if you use a combination of studs, jumper plates and tiles (but admittedly it'll over a larger radius). Alternately you could try horizontally aligned 1x1 bricks with stud on one side tied together with hinges (that way you could get a variety of serpentine curves).

MOC: Bob's Burger Van
MOC: Bob's Burger Van One of the many projects I started when I got challenged to build Bob's Burger building (http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=116911) was the iconic Burger Van. Here's the results! And the lefthand side Credit to Terry Akuna for the awesome graphics http://www.facebook....9990106&fref=ts And here's the source vehicle And in lieu of any instructions/LDD file here's a link to a cut-out-and-stick-together version that can be downloaded from http://thisisanton.d...r-Toy-293955553 Comments, criticisms, and ridicule all welcome.
