  1. As I remember Chiron had a "key" for that purpose...
  2. Good start; but as someone who has lots of headachse with boom on my telehandler project, it seems that axles are a bit to wide; perhaps 11 studs flip-flop beam could be very usefull for you
  3. Actually Jerry I don't like shapes of modern cars at all; and they are difficult to represent with Lego, but somehow you always managed to nail the shape. That is actually my honest opinion.
  4. You know it is exactly ugly as original, so you defenetly made great representation of it. Performance is impressive as it is the case with other models thay you developed.
  5. Perhaps new engine peaces (from Kawasaki) would be useful to you... To represent classic Ferrari in 1:8 scale with those (big) cylinders, you had to choose 625 Targa Florio, or 500TRC
  6. Well, since we have a topic dealing with second Ferrari (125s) it would be a real challelenge for Lego designers to make type 101 out of panels since you can look at discussion as "why doesn't Lego make some model that is often in media or evrn more iconic in technic line". The real contrast would be to make as accurate as possible model out of Lego that represents something that is made of pure metal...and btw there is probably a good reason why model that I mentioned is often called "the last true Bugatti".
  7. If real car is in question, then my (Bugatti) choice is Type 101 van Anthen coupe...so no composite materials or plastic (except in Lego) for me
  8. From specific angle on small image that I saw looked like Porsche rimm. Thanks for correction.
  9. And it looks like it has rims from (also orange) Porsche 42056
  10. I can hardly wait...there are few questions that only final official product can answer... so not far away... Thank you
  11. Front part of hood is to flat for my taste and to flat in comparisson to modern tractors that I saw IRL. Looking forward since I get constantly distracted from building...
  12. And I thought there are some news about Claas Dominator...well (perhaps) it would be outumn release... Nice that you pointed about new Shell sets
  13. Uf now I have to dig out this old buddy to see if connectors #2 have same color... ...and I thought it is shock absorber in light bluish gray...
  14. I know buddy; that is giving me headachse for some time for my Syntrac...if you remember that I made 21 stufs wide Tatra axle inclooding Unimog tires ...now 17 or 19 studs wide inclooding Zetros tires is my challenge If you asked me, I'll be satisfied with that kind of gear arangement...
  15. @HorcikDesigns I wpuld be glad if there would be possibility to have 20 tooth double bevel gear for differentoal housing to incorporate smaller differential in Tatra type suspension
  16. Yes, he constructed small block engines and Aurelio Lampredi made big block engines (usually for La Carrera PanAmericana)
  17. V8? This will be a kind of restomod (since it had V12 engine)?
  18. Today I was praying for exactly that part...
  19. I like using barrels inside wheel; very cool idea
  20. Well, perhaps uou needed challemge, but one thing is certain - you have style
  21. Yes, it tured from green to yellow in shrinked itself Anyway all those series of 1:8 cars are for display, so except suspension, transmission, steering, key is actiually to replicate the look as good as possible
  22. The only real problem in my eyes is how to replicate elegant lines of this Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera barchetta bodywork. (Front radiator grille is relativelly simple - very boxy solution in comparisson to later Touring and specially Vignale masterpieces)
