  1. Ladies and gentleman, did any of you tried to measure resistense in gears in following combinations (if someone did, which is the most efficient combination?): - gear 24 to 24, then daytona differential -> 14 to 22 and hub reduction at the wheels - gear 8 to 8 to 28 and then 12 to 28 tooth red differential with audi hubs - gear 12 (spur) to 24, then 8 to 24 and then 20->28 (gray differential) with audi hubs Thanks I hope this is the right topic for that...
  2. I agree with this, but perhaps idea was one licensed set per year?
  3. Yes, Kawasaki Ninja (has also green clutch 20 tooth gear) is IMHO mid size set / mid price range... Bush plane is real nice set; lots of gears, usefull parts like thin liftarms, panels and on top of it new liftarm 9 studs long with altetnate pin holes.
  4. With Pullback set; you missundetstand; perhaps that (license aggreement) was to have different yellow than backhoe or submarine
  5. Yes yellow submarine...I was trying to say that we can only speculate that color is also part of lucense aggreement
  6. Submarine is not a licensed set, so there could be a color as a part of licensing contract...
  7. That was my thought too, but nevertheless this is my favorite 2025 set so far. Don't know; there are 16 tooth and blue 20 (or 12) tooth gear if I see it correctly on small image...
  8. Well, it has it "plus" and "minuses"; I get constantly distracted and it is very hard for me to find time and concentrate on LEGO; specially when jelous pets are arround...
  9. No, but she gives me advices if MOCs are accurate since she doesn't have intetest in machinery. So when someone who don't understand says Wow instantly recognizable, then you know you are on right track...
  10. My was too and then my wife got nervous brake down (since she insists that everything is organized like a box)
  11. It looks like expensive parts-pack...nothing more IMHO
  12. A bit offtopic; XL motors can be fixed, but I can not open them without damage because plastic is old and brittle, so those pins in motors are not usable, so I have to stiffen them with two 1 x 6 thin liftarms on both sides. On the other hand M-motor has a screw on underside and can be easily taken apart. Only Large motors don't have those cable issues. I'll probably take Servos apart when I make a model where they are not seen and can be reinforced...so far only 2 work, but are mounted on axles which I don't plan to put apart.
  13. As far annoncements are that for next Superbike season Ducati will go back to classic rear fork...due to extra ballast this year they had lots of problems at the rear...but we will see. Last weekend I bought my first Lego bike and I must say that Kawasaki looks better than most comments, so Ducati can only be better IMHO
  14. Well, I have similar problem, only with 21 studs overall width over (94.3x38 Unimog) tires... I had some prototypes and the PF Servo stopped working Now I have to figure out how to make it work with PF Large motor and have 3 steering modes...not yo mention to minimise slack...
  15. IMHO the most difficilt part are axles that use longitudinal differential at such scale (17studs wide)
  16. Yes, but no sign of JCB Excavator or CLAAS Dominator...
  17. Well, there is a JCB license and hope dies last...
  18. There is something wired going on...on freakware site there is no announcement of JCB 220 and CLAAS Dominator 370; and they are not available, as if there will be no such sets... https://www.freakware.de/en/building-blocks/cada/coming-soon-w20257?srsltid=AfmBOor4SQ3R-_shc-QjTdbsGicC_fRq_CA72Yy4C39wfEhv4-vGSpgB ...nothing in Master series... https://www.freakware.de/en/building-blocks/cada/master-series-w20291
  19. Well, JCB has some dosired parts in yellow. Now I await 2nd January...IMHO ut is a must have...
  20. BMW and Yamaha scale? ~~ 1:5 scale?
