Star Wars sets anyone?
My local WalMart has a pretty big section for clearance toys, and I check it every time I go. One of the only sets from last year that I want and don't have is the Y-Wing, so imagine how I felt when I found a beat up Y-Wing and some Jedi Starfighters in the clearance section! I couldn't find a price sticker, so I took it to a barcode scanner, and it still rang up $38.88 The toy clerk wasn't there today, so unfortunately I went home emptyhanded. Has anyone else's local WalMart reduced the older Lego SW sets? The first Lego SW set I bought in there was the Tie Interceptor on markdown, so I know it does happen...Thanks! P.S. I was going to post this in the B/S/T forums, but since I'm a vassal it would be against the rules. Also, my intents do not involve buying, selling, or trading anything here at Eurobricks.

Z95 Headhunter
Yes, you can... A disgruntled rebel pilot looks upon a Z-95 in the process of being repaired...With the Rebellion in such a crisis, even training ships are hard to come by.

Z95 Headhunter
Update: I took the nose off of my 6212 X-Wing and put it on the Z95...I almost couldn't take it off! Needless to say, I have a new nose coming

Help needed in finding a brick
It's hard to explain, but what I am looking for is something to make the transition from this: to this: On the wider brick, I am adding panels in order for a minifig to be able to fit down in the center. Thank you all for all your help. Whenever my parts come I'll assemble what I'm trying to explain and post a picture, but it looks like I'm going to have to find an alternate way to do this.

Z95 Headhunter
Alright, that's cool. The Z95 I am modeling from is this one from Star Wars Galaxies: The rear is much larger than what I have so far, so I welcome the idea of adding some height to the space behind the cockpit. It's hard to see in the picture, but under the cockpit are 2 x 4 slopes. I plan to add different parts so that a minifig sits comfortably and realistically in the cockpit. The Magnaguard Starfighter's windscreen is perfect. Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it

Help needed in finding a brick
Sorry for the crude diagram, but here is a rough diagram of what I am looking for: This piece would be sloped upwards from the bottom. Thanks for any help and/or suggestions you have.

7673 Magna Guard Starfighter Review
Thank you very much sir, it helped greatly. I I am redesigning my Z95 to better accomodate the pilot and that particular windscreen was the only one that looked right and fit the dimensions I needed. Much thanks!

On the new windscreen included with this set, is the straight section on the sides 5 studs long or 4 studs long? It looks to be 5, and I could use it if it was. I wanted to check with someone who knew before I bought one.

Z95 Headhunter
I borrowed the design from The Lego Outpost here: http://home.pcisys.net/~jmbrown/legooutpos...OCreations.html And I have modified the design to my liking. I ordered the first batch of parts and this is the result: I have placed the order for the second batch of parts and it will be almost complete when they arrive. The ship will get full smooth tile and grill plating. All of the parts used to build this set I have purchased new because I am going to display it. Since the Z95 wasn't strictly a Rebellion ship, I decided to leave off any markings aside from the color scheme. I did, however, order a Rebel pilot for it Stay tuned...

LEGO my EGGO deal!
I went to work today (Work at a grocery store) and Eggo Waffles happened to be on sale 2/$3.00 USD. I bought 2 of them and gave the actual waffles to a coworker. Sadly the order form is printed inside the box and it says that duplications won't be accepted. The order card can be used to recieve up to 5 sets per household with the addition of two UPCs and $1.99 USD per set ordered. Not a bad deal if you like waffles, but it's almost not worth it to get the waffles just for the set if you can find it in stores. I myself will be getting at least two and putting them up since I am only building SW right now.

LEGO my EGGO deal!
I was looking at the Kelloggs site for a printable order form and couldn't find one, but here's the official page: http://www2.kelloggs.com/Promotion/Promoti....aspx?PID=11837 Would anyone be kind enough to scan the order form? I'm pretty sure I could get two UPCs without actually buying the waffles from my family, but I don't think any of them buy the Lego waffles. Anyhow, I work in a grocery store, and I'll buy a box or two if they're on sale to get the order form and scan it for you guys. Free legos are *y*

Hey, I'm stampede_dude
I like ep. II, the Geonosis Jedi fight is probably one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. The Yoda fight scenes are the best of them all though. Special effects in the PT was much better because of when the movies were made.

That's a hard one...I like both, but I like PT a smidge better. I do some MOC at the moment, but looking through the latest catalog, the City theme has really grabbed my attention.
