Missing parts
http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/replacementparts/default.aspx The service provided by TLG is very good. I have a 'wheel' missing from my Tower Bridge and a 2x3 light grey from my Death Star. (Separate cases) They were shipped for free and it took about 2-3 weeks as promised for them to reach Indonesia. There were no questions asked, and they didn't ask me to prove anything. I actually fear for the TLG that the system might get abused. I'm not sure if rare parts are replaceable, thankfully all that were missing from my sets were common ones. That being said, I believe prevention is better than cure. I think the missing part monitoring system needs to be adjusted. From a Lego documentary that I watched, it seem that they rely on weighing the sets to ensure that nothing is missing. But the result is a lot of extra, unnecessary useless parts while there still is a possibility for a missing part.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Found 10175 Vader's TIE Advanced in a completely random store in Singapore. I didn't even know there's store selling a LEGO in the area, but I decided to take a chance and lo & behold. It was at about US$210, brand new condition albeit slight shelf ware on the box. Not too bad considering the cheapest listing in Bricklink is US$200. Shipping from US to here would cost US$50-60 I think.

How many and what kind of figs do you use to enhance your Death Star
I'm still in the process of building it, but I somehow think that LEGOs should be left alone on its own without modification. I know that may sound weird in this forum. Maybe cos I'm noob. :|

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Bought the Death Star for S$600 (US$500) at a local store. I know it can be cheaper from some websites but if you take account of the shipping to this part of the world, the waiting, the possible tax by the custom; it's priced OK. Was on sale from its original price of S$800.

Black Pearl vs Queen Anne's Revenge
Bump I faced the similar dilemma a couple of months ago. Decided on the Black Pearl because it's 1) Jack Sparrow's ship, 2) It's black (my favorite color) and 3) QAR has red/crimson/maroon elements (my least favorite color) That being said, I'm disappointed with how small the Black Pearl is.

Your dream Lego theme
Bump I'm a huge football (Soccer) fan and I think it'll be cool if Lego recreate some real-life stadiums. Not as board game or whatnots, just the stadium itself.

Millennium Falcon 10179
grs, we are in the same boat. :) Go to this thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=57894&st=0 A little bit off topic, I was fortunately enough to receive the Super Star Destroyer as a gift from the wife, it's awesome isn't it? :)

10179 UCS Falcon Pricing
Ah, thanks! :) I really regret not buying this brand new 10179 which were selling for 'just' S$1,000 (~US$800) that I saw in a shop in Singapore. It was about a year ago, right when I started to get into Lego and I didn't know how rare it was. FML
- Which set should I buy?

10179 UCS Falcon Pricing
Hi, noob question here. I have only started to follow Lego for a few months now. I read the first few pages of this topic and there were discussions about a re-release of this set. But has Lego actually ever done that, with any set? Thanks
