Im not one for keeping things in boxes. It's your set, and was meant to play with. Who cares what "value" this set might hold in its market.
The real decision is do you want to look at a box for the rest of your life, do you want to make a slight profit on this item, or do you want to play with the toy you bought years ago?
It's a tough call, but my vote is to open the thing and have fun!
I think everyone that entered should get votes, so I picked between the ones without a vote yet, so it goes to Lord Of Pies! Why, not sure, I think it may be the bow tie and suspenders :)
Again, good work to all.
Hi all, I love this site, I feel like I check it every few minutes for updates.
All your work has been fantastic and I learned a ton from the entries. I look forward to more of these in the future.
As for my Danvers Building, its made more progress, the back of the roof has been completed with a deck and door. I'm waiting on a Lego Brick order to finish the center building then I jump in on full interior and start on the two flanking wings.
Good luck to all of you. Legos For Life!

Sorry this is not all complete, but after all these weeks it's as far as I've gotten. My avatar pic is from the movie Session 9, which takes place at Danvers State Hospital (now mostly torn down sadly.) I'm a huge fan of Kirkbride's architecture, so I modeled my house after his style used for Danvers. The Mini Fig is me in Explore Mode. My room is just one of many old patient's rooms in this huge complex.
This is the real building as it was before its destruction:
Picture from 1893
Here are my pics:
The outside front
The outside side view
Center Tower
Old Chair from Session 9 and Unmarked Headstones in cemetery (True to the real site)
Outside the patient's room
Inside the Patient's room for a nap on the bed with restraints (can't really see barred windows, also wall torn out to get a shot of the inside)
