I guess you've never seen The Birds then? My grandmother was really scared of crows/ravens after seeing it. I don't think it has quite the same effect on people these days though..

The red guy actually reminds me of a centipede. It does seem like he's missing something.. though I can't see a space for the antennae on the mozzie guy, so maybe not?

I love the colours on these guys. It's kind of a shame the bug ships don't sound like they'll match like the galactic squad.

Some good stuff coming if this list is correct. Some thoughts: Alien Trooper: This might be another Alien Conquest guy, but in that concept art there's a Mars Attacks/50's b-movie style invader. It'd be very cool to get one like that. Maid Marion: I wonder if this will be a version that goes around being a bandit with robin. That'd be more interesting than a damsel in distress. Heroic Knight: Possably to go with the black knight? Maybe he'll look like Graham chapman.. Cyclops: To go with the Minotaur I'd guess. (Where's Odysseus got to?) Mermaid: Maybe they'll be cheeky and give her red hair. Fortune Teller: Crystal ball or tarot cards? Dr. Splitz: A miss-identified Bigfoot? Judge: Wonder if there's enough in the parts budget for a new hammer/gavel? Battle Mech: Maybe this guy is a robot buddy for the Space Marine? That would be GREAT. Caesar: Biggus Bricckus? Plumber: I hope they'll be cheeky here too and give him a red/green hat and overalls and a 'stach. Waiter: With a 1x1 round tile as wafer thin mint? Can't think of any lame jokes for the other two.

And in the stars, they have found life such as ours. And so the GALATIC FEDERATION was formed. Its SPACEFLEET is formed form only the best and brightest of its peoples. Tasked with keeping the peace, and exploring the universe, this is the story of but one of their ships.. The.. STAR MOTH (Yeah, it's TOS Trek with the numbers filed off.. But TOS is great ) Sets would be a mix of MIDI starships with a minifig of that ship's captain, and "Away mission" style playsets with a shuttle; plus monster of the week and some hapless miners, or space pirates holding a crew member to ransom, a computer for the dashing captain to talk to death, some alien ruins with a bit of shiny tech and a guardian robot, etc.. I don't know about you guys, but I would buy it..
