  1. That looks like a North Korean propagandafilm :p.
  2. Bespin carbon freezing chamber! Probably in the style of Palpatine's arrest and Final Duel, can't wait! Obi's Interceptor is cool too, don't have that color scheme yet.
  3. My T-16 and Azure Angel came in today <3. I love them both, although AA was missing a light gray 3 rod and the sticker sheet. I might also get the AAT, but that'll pretty much be all for this wave. I'm not really waiting for the Final Duel set, since I have my big ol' Death Star. I am looking forward to a bigger Hoth base though. I joined 7879 and 7666 together, but it feels a little bare-bones.
  4. I have the amazing 4481, so whatever version of the Hailfire Droid Lego brings out, they'll probably be inferior. But I'm really looking forward to seeing the official images of the Azure Angel. I loved the animated Clone Wars series and I'd love to get a non CW-faced Assajj Ventress.
  5. Happy May the 4th everyone! Most of my May the 4th orders arrived, including 4 tiny Revans and 4 posters . I'm now the happy owner of pretty much the entire 2014 winter wave. Can't wait for the summer wave, especially the cantina .
  6. I got 3 Hans (Olo?) and 2 Clone Lieutenants from S@H. I just made multiple orders. Will be getting at least 3 or 4 Revans this year, I've been saving my Lego budget for months.
  7. I just bought the Grievous Wheel Bike set in a Dreamland toy store in Belgium. The whole new line was available. I payed €27,99 for it. You can see the other sets' prices online at Collishop. Should the link not work, go to www.collishop.be and search for Lego Star Wars. The box is very glossy, my girlfriend even said they looked brand new off the truck. I have yet to build the set, so I'll edit this with my impressions later :).
  8. I collect Lego for myself, not to show off my collection and ask what others think of it. Even though it looks bad with the smallish print, I'll be getting a pack for the regular troopers.
  9. Yes, unfortunately the LT is US/Canada only, as they are only leftovers from the giveaway. At least I, getting a mini minivan to go with the minivan I ordered, should be here any minute :).
  10. My Ewok village arrived today, looking forward to building it with my girlfriend when she comes over. It'll be her first real Lego build :).
  11. That's everything I expected it to be, will be a first day purchase for me.
  12. Different people have different incomes and different priorities. Nobody's forcing anybody to buy the Ewok village. There are sets at many price ranges. I for one am glad they seem to be going all out. 10188 is the most impressive part of my collection, so if it comes anywhere near that scale I'll be thrilled.
  13. Collishop.be has them, so they must be at Dreamland as well.
  14. I actually has all of the traps from 7956 Ewok Attack, since the middle section was built from that set. If Lego made this kind of set, I'd pay any amount for it, twice! Before I saw this picture I was talking to my girlfriend and listing all the things I wanted to see in the ideal Ewok Village: Multiple trees: check Bridges and vines to get around: check C-3PO with his chair: check Han and/or Luke roasting apparatus: check Brickload of Ewoks: could be better, but he made up with rebels. Overall, not a bad set at all.
  15. That story was described in the Milennium Falcon novel, but I'm sure Dave Filoni will find a way to change that, like he changed so much of the Clone Wars. On topic: Has anyone seen the Jedi Defender in real life yet?
  16. You could argue that crooked panels are entirely justified on a Hutt vessel, since maintenance isn't usually their priority.
  17. I wouldn't call any of these sets army builders or battle packs. These are vehicles which include characters, like any other set. Battle packs tend to focus on generic soldiers with a small buildable element (i.e. flickfire tree) to keep Hasbro's lawyers at bay.
  18. Don't post pictures marked confidential.
  19. He's actually saying that in the animated series, Ahsoka uses a short yellow lightsaber (shoto) in addition to her regular green one, whereas Lego just gave her two regular green ones.
  20. I haven't been on this forum for very long, but even I know not to doubt Cavegod and his sources. Even Grogall confirmed it on the other page. I'm very much looking forward to the Ewok village. With a price-point at $200, it has the potential to be a great set. This year is going to be great for my collection (and terrible for my wallet) as they're bringing back all the sets I regret missing in my dark ages. I always regretted having missed out on Jabba's sail barge, the AT-TE and the Laat/i, now these last two are even coming out as non CW sets :). I also can't wait to see pictures of the Jedi Defender. Keep those TOR sets coming :D.
  21. Is that some sneaky way of saying the "Add to Jabba's Palace" contest is going to decide what comes underneath the tower?
  22. Just like Han Solo and Indiana Jones have different faces. Lego doesn't try to match the actors' faces, but shows off some attribute of the character (like Han's cocky smirk and Indy's scruffiness).
  23. I reported that guy on eBay. Since there is no category to report blatant lies, I put it under misleading title. On topic: some images of most of the summer 2012 sets.
  24. From a marketing standpoint, to differentiate him from other troopers. Lore-wise, he lost his helmet during the battle of Korriban and decided not to wear one during the battle of Alderaan, where he is now in charge of operations (see Alderaan bonus series).
