  1. Haven't been around in a while, but wanting to get back into a set this summer. Both the Audi and Deere Skidder appeal to me. I love Audis, and have some connections to Deere. However, I can't decide if I want to get the Audi for the Control+ pieces and drivability, or get the Skidder as an office display piece. A third option is to just go the Buwizz route, but it's quite expensive. I would like to make a fast buggy type MOC in the future. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  2. I want to order some parts off Bricklink, and I'm looking to make an independent suspension, driven, steering axle. Which parts would I use for an axle like that? I'd probably use a servo motor for steering, and I'd prefer as small as possible. Thanks!
  3. I haven't been on here in years but saw the video on Youtube! This is an incredible project, well done Sariel!
  4. I'm on my normal laptop, and I can say the site is pretty slow for me too. Definitely not the laptop's fault.
  5. Is it possible to build this transmission using the older driving rings? It looks like the newer ones are longer.
  6. I think I got it then. A One:1?
  7. Do I see right the front two RC motors actually turn with the wheels? Takes a massive build to accommodate that sort of steering.
  8. Just go on Bricklink. Here's Toa Mata Nui: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=8998-1 Axalara T9: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=8943-1 and '08 Takanuva: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=8699-1
  9. Those are marked confidential...I'm not sure if they can be linked here or not?
  10. I think mine would have to be Icarax, probably tied with Hydraxon. They both look pretty awesome, and when you consider even Teridax was pretty hesitant to face Icarax in open combat? That's saying something. As for Vehicles, I got both the Axalara T9 and Skopio XV-1. I loved them both
  11. If it ends up a reboot, at least we could consider it an alternate universe perhaps
  12. Favourite of all, probably Lewa, though Kopaka is a close second. Icarax is also up there
  13. I know the Lego outlet near me has a racetrack like this. Problem is, there are/were two pullback motors in the parts bins. anyone with those easily won. Also, for distance, it seems the best design has always been just a single wheel.
  14. This is an officially awesome thread. Now just to come up with one... Nope. Nada.
  15. Could I have a quick definition of CCBS?
  16. I have a stand that I used for my old BB Playbook, and now my 2nd gen Nexus 7. I might have to make another to put it on top of my monitor...Hmmm...
  17. Awesome to see a fellow FIRST member on here! I love the tank too! I'm on 4917, we just had our rookie season, and made it to worlds. Got Galileo division rookie all-star
  18. FYI, it's known that those 8t gears are very weak. However, I've used them in portal hubs without any problems. Make sure they are very well secured.
  19. Oh, I think I was thinking of a differential lock, not drive. My bad
  20. Just FYI, if you're considering realism as an important goal, most semi trucks only have the front of their rear two axles driven. I think that most can drive the second, but think of it like 4WD, it isn't used unless you absolutely need it.
  21. Any ideas how much the helium for something like that would cost?
  22. Awesome bridge! What about using a tracked vehicle for the layer?
  23. I made a stand first for my Playbook, but now my Nexus 7 2nd gen.
  24. Braum seems like he could be broken when released, if played right
