Happy Design Week
I am very sorry and surprised our message is perceived this way, as it contradicts response from other communities. We do not mean to offend any member of EB, and if our topic does so we would be grateful for deleting it from the forum. It is a great forum, with many interesting topics in which we will stay active, however we will not share external links. We wish to improve our idea of MinuteBot parts, but not for the cost of interfering with EB regulations :)

Happy Design Week
Thank you for the note, however I do not see a relevant line in the Site Guidelines. I would be grateful for suggestions how I could alter my message to make it clear it is not a contest and we are not trying to sell anything. We want to communicate our concept to all fans of LEGO and robotics; and we are directing to the kickstarter page because this is the main platform we are using. It is our focus to direct to the most fresh and up to date information. Anyone can read there about the MinuteBot for free and with no registration. We are spreading the word about the design challenge, as to our believe LEGO CADs may interest some members of EB. Thank you for your consideration.

Happy Design Week
Hi Everyone. We started on eurobricks.com spreading the word about our idea of MinuteBot. But now we are much further than just spreading the word. We want to share the fun of building with the Base even before it is out, so we set up a design challenge. We call for all creative forces to join in the quest. To give a foretaste of the MinuteBot Base the last update was issued together with a set of 3 .dat files to use in LDraw (thanks to great deal of help we received through LDwar forum). To prove it is not a commerial project everyone that submits a project, no matter how simple or advanced, is rewarded with a double up on the amount of Bases one pledged for. The challenge is for everyone, so please feel free to post and share the file with whoever interested. Please see the details of the Happy Design Week and join in! Get the file and share your design on http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/37801615/minutebot-base/posts/217507 Please spread the news. Cheers!

Competition, need your feedback
MinuteBot replied to MinuteBot's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIt can be used as a gearwheel, but it cannot drive an axle, as the center hole is round. So it would call for some bushings for this use. MinuteBot Bearing is a standard steel ball bearing that has a LEGO-compatible casing. In thet picture you can see where exactly the metal bearing comes in :)

Possible Future Project: MinuteBot Base by Soren Jensen
MinuteBot replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWell, it would disqualify. Funds are collected only if the project is succesful, if it is not, no money is collected from pledgers' accounts. Pledger can scale the plade up or down at any time, or even calncel it, there is no risk. But the more you pledge now, the better for the project, the more buzz it creates, and later even if some pladges are cancelled the buzz lives on and reaches other enthusiasts. We are trying to reach as many LEGO builders as possible, through fora, blogs, personal contacts, twitter and others. If you like our idea, if you want to help us spread the word meet us on Facebook <facebook.com/minutebot.stream> or at Twitter <@MinuteBot>. Hope to see you there and great great thanks for all the support from all of you!

Competition, need your feedback
Hi Mindstormers, LEGO enthusiasts, and geeky robot builders :) We are working on bricks and elements that are compatible with LEGO sets, but more durable and with new functionalities. I shared on this forum our earlier project MinuteBot base. The new project we are working on is a bearing. It is in its developing phase. So it ;s the best moment to collect feedback on our idea. Please see the project (vote if you like it :) )and write how would you use it, or how it can be improved. We are interested in any comments! We really want this MinuteBot bearing to happen, and we need your help. Please spread the word. http://www.bocabearings.com/innovation-contest/ContestantDetails.aspx?ProjectID=47

Building bridges with Brick, Arch 1 x 12 x 3
Hi, we are working on a part, that could help with an alternative bridge design. Could be used to join two plates, or as a top layer for a bridge - more as a viaduct than an arch bridge. Depends on how big construction you need :) Have a look at our idea http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/37801615/minutebot-base

Hi to everyone here
I'm a member of LEGO Mindstorms enthusiasts team. Our goal is to make building Mindstorms robots easier. It is amazing how many fans & information one can find here. I am looking for feedback on our ideas we have now, and for further inspirations. I am looking through the forum and trying to be active whenever I spot a good topic. In the meantime if you have any idea on what part/block/element would make it easier to build LEGO robots write to me :)
