Oh, wow. My local Targets are still overflowing with CMF19. Hopefully those clear out during the holidays.

Still about two months before the DC CMF drops, right? And are they $5/each as rumored?

While, I would like a "Hall of Fame" series with the best figure from each of the past series just so I can get another shot at some of them, I feel like that would be a bad move by Lego unless they wanted the line to end at 20. A better bet would be the usual assortment of figures. If they really go $5 a piece, they should play it safe, so I'd expect alot of staple characters or multi-purpose characters. For example, as much as I like the ghost knight from CMF19, he's really limited unless you get other hands/heads.

X-Men and Fantastic Four are getting alot of love in action figure form and even games like Heroclix. I'm betting they're gonna be making a huge splash in Lego too as the next big MCU properties.

There's so many Lego bricks out there and for cheap, it'll never be unaffordable. And even if all you can get is a $10-15 set, you still have tons of possibility and alot more playtime than a number of comparable toy products out there. I didn't have a ton of Lego when I was a kid, but I had enough for days worth of entertainment and creativity provoking - more than any other action figure or video game.

Fantasy, like the stuff from 08. Orcs, trolls, etc.

Exciting news. Maybe Lego pulled the plug, but fan reaction got them to reconsider? Personally, I would have been fine with just the seasonal ones, but more licensed figures would be welcome, provided there is some kind of soft reboot. Some of the figures, like Star Wars Captain Phasma just don't hold up and maybe getting back to basics, like they started to with the Star Wars OT characters would help.

The problem will be if the print is of poor quality, it's a design flaw and not something that would be worked out in another print. Just like the Captain America heads, this one with light printing over dark may be hard to match against other figures. It may look out of place.

Anyone collect Lego keychains? I’ve picked up a couple and they’re a nice sort of inexpensive impulse item. Easier than the build-a-minifigures, because I can just grab and go. Plus there’s a ton of characters and minifigure types out there.

I think just the two movies, yes. I don’t even know if BW has started shooting yet. With Disney really pushing their streaming service, I think we’ll see a lot of product tie-ins.

We might. Lego/Disney might need something to hold us over till the next big series.

20th anniversary Podracer. 2019 marks twenty years of Lego Star Wars and ten years of me collecting Lego.

FYI - Walgreens in the US has started getting last year’s Easter Bunny in their Easter section. First time I’ve seen that set outside a Lego store.

$240 US for the whole wave kinda hurts and there’s nothing super new, except Zuckuss. Not sure if I want to be in, because if I am, I’ll have to be all in for the special anniversary minifigures. Also wondering if there won’t be a GWP promo minifigure offered at the same time as the sets; like maybe a Tarkin or Ben?

I’m surprised that even though Lego has/had a serviceable Star Wars Dewback mold, they went with a brick-built Dewback for the set. Makes me wonder if we’re likely not to see larger molds in the future, such as could be the case for HP dragons.
