[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
From READ ME.txt: This instructions file also comes with an edit guide. The guide is only for people who are turning the original ISD in to the ISD 2.0. If you bought the instructions after December 22, 2020 you have the ISD 2.0. The Original ISD is no longer distributed after December 22, 2020. January 03 2022 Update. The 2.0 update is now called 3.0. Some of the page details we too far zoomed in on the 2.0 version so the view was altered on some of the steps to make building easier. There is not part difference between 2.0 and 3.0. So unfortunately no new version...- 168 replies

Last weekend I finally finished the build of this beautiful model. I had to wait a few weeks for the new Tile 3 x 3 Curved, Macaroni from LEGO B&P but is was worth the wait! This is a really slick, smooth and clean build. But it is also very strong and solid. The body is quite heavy but the legs can easily hold the load. The lighting of the chic black interior is a nice touch. Instructions are of professional quality and easy to follow. I think that Michal did a great job again and this model is the perfect alternative for people who don't have the space or the money for the UCS 75313. I am very happy that I built it and am planning to have it on my desk for quite some time!

I had the privilege to test the instructions and built the model over the past days. Not only does it look great but it is also constructed in a very solid way and the instructions are easy to follow. Recommended for everyone who is looking for a big(ger) AT-AT but doesn't want to spend $800 on a UCS set.

Review: 10299 Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The model looks nice but is not really accurate. I visited the stadium once and noticed that the pitch is below street level. So you enter the stadium somewhere halfway the stands, between the second and third row if I remember correctly. Quite impressive in real life but not in this model... -

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I am building this monster at the moment and have never seen such a solid structure built out of LEGO bricks! If ever my house will be hit by an earthquake, I am sure The Eviscerator will survive it! Three layers of technic bricks with plates inbetween, braced with technic liftarms. Unbelievable! The frame at the moment weighs 3 kilograms...- 168 replies

Unfortunately not :-( I even visited the designer (Berthil van Beek) and we looked into it together but couldn't locate the problem. There was too much friction "somewhere"... I dismantled the model and built Akiyuki's Basket Shooter instead. That works flawlessly!

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Almost 8000 parts in common... https://rebrickable.com/sets/compare/slow/?1-set=MOC-23556&1-inv=34177&1-user_list=&2-set=&2-user_list=65044 The missing parts can be found in this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3f6c7rn1d4b9od4/brickstore_parts_the-eviscerator-vs-isd-monarch.bsx?dl=0 NOTE: This is based on V1 partslist. I don't own a V2 partslist. May be @2mpaired is willing to share one?- 168 replies

The Tribute to The Razor Crest - Released!
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to Jerac's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This looks really fantastic! Especially compared with the official LEGO version which now looks likes a small, silly brother ;-) Is there a way the partslist of this model could be shared? I am interested in finding out how many pieces I am missing before ordering the instructions. -
According to Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-9018/raskolnikov/moderately-sized-isd-with-full-interior/#parts There are 579 parts in this inventory, with 15310 total quantity. The approximate cost of these parts is €2,009.51 https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-23556/onecase/isd-monarch/#comments There are 481 parts in this inventory, with 11353 total quantity. The approximate cost of these parts is €2,919.76 The Monarch uses some rare parts which you don't really need. I built both but liked the Monarch a little more in the end; stronger construction (no interior) and 'sharper' looks. If you like play features I would suggest the Aggressor. Next up: The Intimidator! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-23104/CharlesRAnderson/isd-intimidator-77525/#comments There are 480 parts in this inventory, with 19579 total quantity.

Cavegod UCS AT-AT Instructions | "Walker Assault"
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to Cjd223's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You are welcome! I use this feature a lot and find it quite handy! By doing some color or mold substitutions you can probably increase this percentage. If you would be so kind to make your Custom List for the new version 'Visible to other users' and share the URL everybody can do the comparison and start BrickLinking! ;-)- 259 replies

I imported the .csv into Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/users/tvroenho/lists/75852/ The Volvo Excavator shares 55% of the parts with the 42100-1 Liebherr R9800: 2282 parts in common (99 unique) that appear in both 42100-1 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator and VOLVO EXCAVATOR 2020 1497 parts (177 unique) are in VOLVO EXCAVATOR 2020 that are not in 42100-1 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator (excluding spare parts). https://rebrickable.com/sets/compare/slow/?1-set=42100-1&1-inv=37842&1-user_list=&2-set=&2-user_list=75852 No go find a cheap 42100 set!

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
Theo van Vroenhoven replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is a really impressive design! I watched the video on Youtube and the model is really growing on me! @2mpaired Can you explain how the bottom panels are connected to the frame? This is normally the weakest point in these large builds. And can you share the partslist? I am really curious how many parts I am still missing! Or will this be on Rebrickable soon? Congratulations on this amazing build!- 168 replies
