  1. Thanks for the reply. I was ultimately able to solve it by putting the parts together in LDD then importing into Studio. At least now I know there is another way.
  2. I'm using Studio version 2.2.11 and I am trying to mate tire 3139 to hub 3464 without any success. Has anyone else had this issue?
  3. That's an awesome little build. Well done.
  4. Tim_AZ posted a post in a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I was working on another project with a shape that reminded me of a turtle, then this happened. I'm still working on his chest plate but I was at a good enough point to stop for some renders. If I get really motivated I'll add some partially destroyed buildings etc.
  5. When compared to the source, I don't think the proportions are that far off. I had to make a choice between having a secure mount for the barrels or a more accurate taper.
  6. This is a great little build. I really like the broken glass detail in the window. Too bad Lego doesn't make a glow in the dark tree.
  7. I really like the trike. It might be worth a little redesign to get the gun to traverse instead of being fixed forward.
  8. I can't believe it has been 9 and a half years since I posted my last ADU MOC the ADU Locust Dropship. This project started out as a simple exercise to see if I could design a reasonably accurate Gepard SPAAG turret with the level of detail I wanted for no particular reason. The next thing I know I'm developing a chassis for it. As with my previous builds I wanted to maintain the Alien Conquest aesthetic while expanding on their in universe capabilities. This led to some design choices I only went with because it looks correct in context. The completely exposed wheels/tires are a great example of this. There's also some details like the various tools hanging on the turret that will likely change. Anyway, I'm still using LDD with its outdated library so there will be some color swapping as I begin gathering the parts I don't have on hand for the build. Fortunately I was buying AC sets in bulk way back then so I have quite a bit of what I need already. Please let me know what you think.
  9. I think rotating the "eye" on the robot 90 degrees either direction would be a big improvement.
  10. Agreed. I'm already planning on modding that. The cockpits for the lunar lander and the little shuttle with the space station are also pretty weak.

At least bridges being out will no longer be an issue!
  12. I'm looking forward to the new lunar base and rocket launch facility but I'm less impressed with the rover and station. I will say that the new sets are good representation of where we are technologically today vs the more forward looking Mars sets.
  13. I'm sure Cobra Commander would approve. Very cool.
  14. Beautiful. That era of F1 cars will always be my favorite.
