  1. I use gamespot for checking out games, but I have too noticed that they've been getting less positive in their reviews and such. Aah well. Anyway, Yeah I'll definately be getting the Wii, but probably later more than sooner, because of prices. Does anybody know when It comes out in stores in Australia? I'm guessing soon, as they came out today (19th) everywhere else. But anyway I'll have to check them out in stores. Also...I know this is sorta off topic (and pretty old), but does anybody own Paper Mario 2: the Thousand year door (on gamecube, not Wii, of course)? Can they tell me if its good and worth getting? Anyway, back on topic, I don't quite fully understand the Wii channels (i think thats what theyre called). Do the Wii tennis and the other Wii sports come with the consol built-in or anything, or do you have to buy them seperately? When I first saw the Wii and the whole remote-thing I had my doubts, but after reading so much on how easy and smooth it is, I actually think it might be alright. But I still think the good ol' controller are better (i love the gamecube controller!) Thanks for the review and everything. Game on! -Cyclonis
  2. Ooh, thats going to be a dilly of a pickle to find. Maybe I could fine recular hull peices - Are there any ones sized thike that, in the same colours? -Cyclonis.
  3. Aaaa-HA! That's exactly what I want! something that is a grey/black ship hull, with the classic royal knights style to it with a dash of castle still on the boats (battlements) and I'll add a sail to it. That's the very thing that I'd like. I'll have to see what ship hull peices he used and try to make one similar for my story. Not a complete copy...but quite close ;-) My knowledge of Pirate ship peices is very small, could someone help me out and tell me what hull and mast peices were used, and if I can add a sail to that mast peice/s, etc. -Cyclonis
  4. We're just forcing Lego to make more crap sets, by buying them! Even if a set is crap, we still buy them for parts or whatever. This makes Lego with that we like the sets, so they continue to make the crap ones, and over time even make them crappier to see if they can get away with it. Whats bad, is, that they are getting away with it! We should tell Lego what to do, WE should be the ones to give critisism. We should buy the sets that we think could help Lego when they realise that they could improve upon it. Its amazing how if one of us were a member of TLC, we could improve so much upon their products. -Cyclonis
  5. Hahaha. This is a good set. I don't own it, but would certainly like to. It reminds me of that KK2 set that has a little wall of a fortress, but of course, this one is much better. This is the kind of set I'd like to buy plenty of so I can join them and make someting massive out of. The Ram/Seige towers pretty good looking too. (three pairs of O's there.) The minifig count is very good, and they are fully equipped aswell, with sheilds and weapons. This set is awesome! Good stuff, Lego. I'm generous = 10/10. Its a good set to buy plenty of for a big fortress and big armies!
  6. This is a nice set. Im not too fond of all the blue on the cart and the actual peices used, but the minifigs are great and has alot of shields, with a king and soldiers, and a Royal Knights flag. Only a Royal Knight collector like me of the age of 15 would dream of having a set like this, no matter if it's even the worse of them all! Great set - great minifigs, great peices/accesories, great horses, shields and the flag etc. Good job lego, 9/10!! -Cyclonis
  7. Not only is it my first boat MOC, it's my first boat. Full stop. Of course I own the Viking longboat as I said before, but I don't actually own a ship so I wouldn't have a clue as to parts or anything. Thanks for the help, but I need further discussion. I guess I'll have to go with Phes' first picture, but what about a boat like that, but with a flat, square-shaped kind of back? Here, I'll give a pic of what I mean: Like that...kind of. I'll have a play around on MLCAD/LDraw and I'll see what I can come up with. I'll shows you all once I'm done the main bit and I'll play around with the colours and see what you think, etc. Well thanks. -Cyclonis
  8. Hey all, For my story on my site, It is a medieval story which is based both on land and sea. I know I am giving away alot, but I'm planning on building an old ship/galleon for my story for the Royal Knights. What parts do I need to build this? I only want a small little ship for a couple of knights. What peices and certain parts do I need for the ship to look more medieval Royal Knights, than just Pirates? Anyway Thanks for your help. Its greatly appreciated. -Cyclonis.
  9. Yeah, I made that Shadow Knight one. The link to my smiley gallery is in the first post. Yeah there was a stage where all the smileys were on there but the Shadowie is the only one left.
  10. Hello fellow Eurobrickians, A while back I made a huge amount of lego smileys for this forum. At one stage, they were all added to the smileys lot, so that people could use them in posts. Now, when I go to post something, they are all gone, even when I click "Show All", they're not there, except for the shadow knight I made. I do believe that I have made a huge amount of KKII figs, and various other smileys including starwars faces and such, some classic 'grill' knights, and even some Hary potter faces. I also made a huge lot of Cowboy smileys. Where have they all gone? In my own opinion, I think that they were all accurate and very close-looking to the real lego minifigs. One person on this forum has the title of something along the lines of 'smiley maker'. my memory isn't accurate though, because I cant quite remember. Now... I'm not asking for a title or anything, and I'm certainly not asking for the other person's title to be removed (because that would just be rude and stupid of me), but I put alot of effort into making all these smileys, and I don't want my hard effort to go in vain. I'd like to see fellow Eurobrickers using them and sharing them. :-) Well, thats all I have to say. Oh, and here's my gallery of smileys: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=147736 Well, thanks, -Cyclonis
  11. You sure about that?: The little child wants attention and fame, but can't be bothered to work towards it, and is thus lying. I reccomend a topic closure until he has solid proof to prevent flaming and arguments, don't you? -Tilius- Aaah understood. I missed that post. Somehow i read them all but missed one. Anyway yeah now that he said "count me as highly i have these sets and you dont" clearly indicates that he is trying to gain attention and he wants other people to think well of him. Even if someone gets famous among this community, going and saying those lines make others think less of you. I can almost guarantee you're just here to annoy us, legofan459. -Cycl :-/ nis
  12. For baseplates, I turn them upside-down and I rub the studded side into some scrap carpet or even the normal carpet in your house. Doing this to the baseplate immediately illiminates all the dust on the baseplate, even between the studs. Then you can get a shoe with a good, and of course, clean soul to it and then drag that in lines along the carpet. It pushes all the dust and hair and fluff in the carpet to one big pile. Then you can get rid of that. It may sound a little stupid, but it's ALOT easier than trying to get a paper towel and rubbing in all around those little studs.
  13. Why would he be lying? It's not as though he's saying that he's better than us, he's just announcing that he got them. Sure, he may be (what i like to call) "fibbing", but don't disbelieve him because he wont take pics. Well, do you have a scanner? maybe you could scan an open-page of the instruction booklet, or shove one of the new torsos under there and scan. He may be lying, but then again, he may not be. I don't have much knowlege of release dates for these sets, so I'm not taking sides or anything. Maybe TRU got in some sets earlier than bricklink and ebay to make some even extra dollars. Who knows? -Cyclonis
  14. Yeah, Castle is definately my favourite theme, and i build mocs regularly. Lately, my hardrive had been running out of space, but when I get more space, I will post my mocs very often, as I make them very often. We should also start a minifig review topic every week. This would be good, because I'd post more in that than a set review. With the minifig reviews, we can talk about how we use the faces and/or torsos, if we think it fits with the theme, the colour scheme, etc. And set discussions are great aswell, I love review topics. As nathan said before, - It would be more eficiant and overall a smarter-looking community if people post more than "cool" and "Wow" etc. We could also have a MOC review. And a Custom minifig review. Maybe even a peice review, like review the usuability of a certain peice, like the castle wal peices or swords or helmets or whatever. I also have a story on my site which is castle-based and have illustrated the story with edited and tidy looking photos. Maybe some other people might want to get into writing, and then we can make topics, showing previews of our stories and links to our stories and show people our edited photos and such. Im not sure, it sounds quite stupid now when i'm typing, because I can't find the right words...aah well its just a thought. Well, thats it for now. Sorry if people have already suggested it, but I have to leave shortly so I dont have time to read the other comments first. My typing may be a bit sloppy aswell, so apologies for that aswell. And like nathan says, God Bless you all!! -Cyclonis
  15. That's painted, isn't it though. Anyway, yeah thats the best peice, alongside the grilled helmet, and neck-protector helmets and bullet helms. I'd like the shadow knight one more if it was in more colours, and I'd really like the rascus and danju visors if they were in dark grey.
